I installed ext2 volume manager and it mounted it to my computer but when clicking on it, it asks to format. looks like i did not set it up to a standard format

so i wish to sell my nas now that i own a r610 server and using it for storage and rendering. Will windows read the drive and allow me to copy the files off of it directly via sata or will i have to copy over 3tb of storage via my slow home network [ Ethernet ] i dont want to risk the drive being wiped when i plug it in to my desktop.

i would suggest just formatting every drive if u want to clean each one, deleting a drive and not activating it in the installer can leave a drive that windows will detect in drive manager but not in " my computer "

yes windows will still detect the other drives.

So i have a failed fan on my 1080ti Poseidon its under warranty but i dont mind it being dead since its on water anyway. but I've been getting massive sag due to the beefy weight of the air and water cooler combo. Question is this. does the pcb of a Poseidon and a strix match. EK claims it does but does anyone know from experience!

ok tested it and it runs horrible. 20 fps in some games what. the hell.

i installed the update to my drivers and enabled g-sync option, my monitor is not part of the validated list but it is a freesync 144hz benq xl2730z. when i hit apply the monitor went black but still was detected by windows and remained the primary display. it stayed black for 5 minutes i had to uninstall the driver with the monitor powered off to get visual back. could this be a cable issue as i am not sure what cable im using i know its display port but not if its 1.2a. please help

so im buying a new reservoir from a local store that sells mainly xspc, not a problem but the issue is this i have my own alphacool 655 d5 pump so i figured i would order a d5 reservoir so i can just attach my d5 and save money. so i have a old ps4 drive with files and stuff that is important to me but windows reads it as not formatted or hidden. but in disc manager there is a drive with a dozen partitions [ see pic ] is there any software i can install on windows 10 that will let me see the data on the partition i seek?

im looking for a controller that fits my hands a little better, the controller that comes with the ps4 slim is ok if u have small hands but i for me its rather uncomfortable. i used to use a xbox elite controller on pc and grew fond of the design and features and looks like the razer is similar, what do you recommend?

keep a eye out on local pc shops near end of year and around your countries tax time. often older stock gets discounted and sold cheaper. is a good idea as well its a strong air cooler and will out do the stock or probably even the after market cooler msi put on it.

dh15 AND if you really want to stay cool as winter run some super high rpm 120 or 140 fans i ran 3000 rpm fans with the stock wire clips from the dh15 for months was louder but it gave better cooling then slower more silent fans included with the cooler. 70c max load on a 6700k at 4.6

yes I did delete and format the drive apon reinstallation and just let it sit unlocked with sleep mode off on a bench in one of the rooms for about 3 days while I was away for the weekend

yea its not been 4 one after the other but ive tried everything short of a ssd and not really looking at that kind of cost. I think its some of the hp junk I cant seem to cut from the pc like a cancer
