WowMuchName reacted to Belgarathian in Daisy chain battery banks?
You can check what the airline allows. It should be on the website.
I know for mine you're not allowed battery banks on the flight.

WowMuchName reacted to ARikozuM in could i use a big enough air cooler as a passive cooler?
Can you switch it to 2 and 2?

WowMuchName reacted to Dutch-stoner in could i use a big enough air cooler as a passive cooler?
If you have enough airflow, this usually means there are case fans. I get the feeling this person does not want fans.

If you have enough airflow in the case, then yes, it can work.

WowMuchName reacted to WindowsXP16 in Roccat tyon laser?
I have a Tyon my self and it does not jitter when I draw a straight line. The weight isn't that bad and I like it (depends on personal preference). I don't feel any acceleration when I'm using it but maybe because I'm using a had mousepad (I have the Logitech g440). Although I don't really utilise the buttons one the sides of left click and right click, I use it for BF1 but that's about it. Overall the mouse is decent if you like/have:
-Heavy mouse
-lots of buttons (useful for RTS, MMOS)
-a hard mouse pad (I used to have a cloth one but since the mouse is heavy and wide, it produces too much friction and is not so easy to move around)
I use it for CS-GO and its doing decent (I'm Nova 3)

WowMuchName reacted to kiwibacon in What's the advantage of a bigger res?
more expensive. wait is that a negative?
i suppose it would prevent heat spikes but i doubt that is a problem on custom loops. prob better to get 2nd radiator.

WowMuchName reacted to Ryoku in What's the advantage of a bigger res?
This isn't true, the amount of water you'd need for this to happen would be massive (be like a swimming pool). All an half a liter or liter of fluid would do in this case is make the fluid take a little longer to equalize to it max temp (which wouldn't be very long).
Edit: sorry just re-read this, sorta saying the same thing just explained a little diferently

WowMuchName reacted to Ithanul in What's the advantage of a bigger res?
Easier to bleed air out of a system too.
Especially tube res, I deal with a bay res which can be a royal pain to bleed air out.

WowMuchName reacted to atomicus in What's the advantage of a bigger res?
Technically you could have a loop without a res, but I don't know why you would, and it would be more trouble than it was worth. No need for a massive one certainly.

WowMuchName reacted to knightslugger in What's the advantage of a bigger res?
A larger res can mean more volume, which will translate to a higher heat sink which can keep temps lower longer, but the downside is that it takes longer to cool.

WowMuchName reacted to Kobathor in Anyone know if there will be a RX480x?
Maybe? The RX 480 is the biggest Polaris chip, so a 480x would need to be a cut-down Vega chip.

WowMuchName reacted to Prysin in Netflix further enhancing the Android Masterrace
Yes, but those phones are overwhelmingly NOT ANDROID PHONES.
I guess this is a fair caveat. However the big question is; Do the app remove the content once the time limiter runs out? Or does the content just pile up and eat up storage space? Will we get High Def local storage? How will that even work in slower SD cards, like sub Class 4 cards which is NOT designed to be subjected long term read/write cycles at all.

WowMuchName reacted to ProjectBox153 in 3.5mm jack pass through for desk
They make extension cables (I have two, each has a coiled wire) that would be pretty easy to attach to a desk. You could use some kind of glue.

GTA supports multiple screens, with some games you can use a program. Not sure what it's called, but you can use it to basically not look fuc*ed up.
