Which would you go with and why?

I would like a 27" but I am not super picky. I was looking at the Asus VG248QE but it is just a little bit out of my budget.

I live in an area that is very sparse on tech but I will definitely look

This will be my first time venturing into the realm of PC gaming so probably a bit of everything Strictly gaming. I use my phone for social media and I dont do content creation. I was looking at the Asus VQ248QE but I am not set on any in particular. I am going to get a 1080p monitor regardless I dont know how but I would definitely love to I am a very function over form kind of guy at least until I have a budget for it. Nothing fancy is perfectly alright with me

Could you possibly put a build together for me?
-
I recently decided a Ryzen CPU is a lot more affordable and sensible for my needs and my budget. I am only going to be gaming and was unsure if I should choose the 1500x and save money or if I should make the jump to the 1600 for the 6 cores and 12 threads. I will be playing at 1080p so a gtx 1060 will suit my needs. I dont know which to get though I have heard good things about Gigabyte and PNY models. I already have peripherals so I just need the system and a monitor, dont worry about OS. My budget is $800 though i can spend up to $950. If you have any advice or think I should change my mind on a graphics card or CPU let me know This will be my first build so I am open to any and all help.

I live in an area that is very sparse for fairly priced components. Ive seen 5 year old cards being sold for the original price, but never a 980ti. Thanks for the suggestion, Ill keep an eye out!

Do you have a specific brand or model you would suggest?

This will be my first build. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Bm73JV I have spent time and looked into each of these parts and decided these will suit my PC gaming needs to start off with.I plan on upgrading my system after i get it. I am choosing to stick with the stock cooler because I am on a budget and have no plans to overclock. Noise also isnt a huge problem for me. I plan on getting the red variant of my case when it comes time to purchase all the parts but i prefer to focus on performance instead of looks. My budget is $200 - $300 dollars for my GPU but I can be fairly flexible. I want to be able to hit at least 60 fps at 1080p on high-ultra settings. The GTX 1060 3GB has caught my eye I am having trouble deciding which card to get and would love assistance anyway possible. I would like to stay on the green side of the fence but if there is an AMD card that makes a compelling fist choice Id love to hear about it. I have peripherals and dont need OS. I live in Utah, USA

I was led to believe that the 2 USB 2.0 connectors wouldn't fit in USB 3.0 / 3.1 Is that just my stupid noob logic? I am after all converting from console gaming.

Hello once more all you wonderful people of the internet. I am not very tech savvy but I have friends who are, or at least think they are. Yesterday I heard two of them talking about which is the better case the Fractal Design Define R5 or the CoolerMaster Mastercase Pro 5. I was wondering what all of you thought. What are the pros and cons of these two cases? Which is best? Do they both suck?

Hello everyone you are looking wonderful. I have a question that has been keeping my up at night. Will my Corsair K95 keyboard work with my planned build, what about my Razer Deathadder chroma? I made a bone-head decision and bought my peripherals before anything else. The build I have planned includes an Asus Z170-A motherboard and I don't even know If I can plug them both directly into the motherboard or not. I haven't bought my PC parts yet. Would the Z170-A be compatible, should I pick a different motherboard, or should I write off the $203.00 that I already paid? Any and all help is welcomed. Also thanks for the advice on power supplies as you can tell I am new to this whole thing

Should I even bother with custom cables? I am torn between getting a CoolerMaster Mastercase Pro 5 and the Fractal Design Define R5 but neither of them show off cables if I have proper cable management, right?

Hello beautiful people of he internet. Recently I have decided that I want to build my first gaming computer. I am unlearned in the ways of computers but I am confident in the parts I have chosen. I researched my parts and received help from many wonderful people and now the only thing standing in my way is my own ineptitude. I want to buy cables from Cablemod for my fully modular PSU but I don't know what cables I need. This is where all you lovely people come in. Could somebody please help me with this last hurdle! Here is a link to my parts list: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/D9VNqk In case anyone was curious I am going with a Black, White, and Yellow theme
