Leave room for upgrades. Also depending on the games he plays it might be able to run at 4k. At the very least I would get 1440p monitors. Bit overkill but will run pretty much any game at 1440p60 and at least 4k30. But you gotta keep in mind its a full setup. If you already have monitor/keyboard and mouse than you could get better parts or just save some money.
