  1. I used to have issues with windows 8.1, when it booted up and I'm at the log in screen it would freeze up for about 5 seconds than respond... and sometimes my HDMI port wont work which I have hooked up to my TV for XBMC... I knew it was a driver issue... If I had the drivers completely uninstalled and the resulotion at 800x600 it would load up with no issues. I reverted back to 13.9 with better results but it would still freeze up a couple of boots.... This seemed to have fixes that glitch with my crossfire setup
  2. Hey guys, so AMD just released a re-ramp version of Catalyst Control also renamed 'Catalyst Omega' Sorry if this was already posted about but I just saw it today... If you have used it, what are your thoughts thus far? I'm running two 7950 in crossfire I'm downloading now Sasa Marinkovic and Terry Makedon AMD Interview
  3. That's too bad! That 800D was starting to look good I think you would of done a hell of a job with it My solution to taking out my HDD cage was buying a 4-bay external and slapping all my HDD in that and just 2 way taping my SSD's in the case
  4. I had a pre built NEC P1... forget the model of it.. but I saved up PENNIES to buy it used and loved it hahaha I even ran windows XP on it!!!!!!

  6. Fluffy hahaha I love it!
  7. Dremel works but it makes a huge mess to have to clean up after with sanding (because it melts it) Any high RPM tool will melt it. I used the saw that came in the EK kit and it works wonders! and used 80 grip sand paper (i think it was 80) to clean it up (I also used a file too... only thing about a file is if it slips you might scratch the sides of your tubing... sand paper you can lay flat on a table and sand it holding the tube
  8. Yup it's pricey but worth it for sure! If you want to venture down that road plz plz plz research research research and watch plenty of YT videos.... that's the best advise I can give you! Also start small... Start with a simple CPU loop.... and if you're comfortable or money is tight than you could wait a couple months than upgrade and buy GPU, ram, mobo blocks (and No, I never had a water leak thats burnt my system yet incase anyone is wondering lol)

I actually liked the blue!! But it looks good this way too! BTW That thick rad in the bottom.... I would do A Push/Pull Config for fans...NOT LIKE YOU DON'T HAVE ANY ROOM! hahaha
  10. Check first post for upgrade specs and picture
  11. Okay, motherboard, RAM, Fans, CD Rom, watercooler for CPU all need power too... I know they are minimal but do add up. I'd advise 750w MINIMUM and this is coming from a guy who spiked his SSD when pushing a corsair HX550w to it's limits
  12. If you're in Edmonton or Calgary Alberta.... MEMORY EXPRESS. They price match any canadian website too with 25% of the difference! Can't go wrong with that
  13. Razer Lachesis. Hated that thing with a passion! Cursor would jump to the left every so often, razer released a firmware witj didn't help... But i did Used it for a while a NEVER could get used to its weird palm placement shape! I got a corsair m65 and haven't looked back.
  14. Yup! My room does and i LOVE it in the winter tike lol
  15. Yeahhh stick with like a Corsair sealed loop for $100
  16. Just make sure it's a good name brand surge protector and not like a dollar store one... I've seen some with hair thin wires and they do melt
