  1. If you looking to buy one, go for it I would say, if this is your question !
  2. I edited with my personnal opinion
  3. you asked for feedback !!! People just answering you I have no history with Zotac, but I feel like its a trustable brand, here in CANADA Best buy mostly sells Zotac GPU's ( which is one reason I don't buy zotac since I hate best buy lolll ) but it is surely as good as any other. I just prefer to buy EVGA ASUS or GIGABYTE but thats a personnal choice
  4. I kinda have to disagree with you, lemme explain : Many people that looks at pure gaming performance will use their computer for gaming only. When you talk about using APPS in windows, or having some minimized apps (chrome or else ) while gaming, the 7700k is VERY capable of doing that, and there will be absolutely no lag at all. So the gain you get in windows with the R7 is not noticeable if it doesn't involve extreme multi tasking or developping tools, rendering applications etc... In other words, you will not notice a difference by using chrome youtube twitch minimized while you play BF1 with a 7700K. So what are the gain from using the R7 if you don't use rendering application developping applications ??? Reference : I have a 6700K and my friend a R7 1700. My computer loads chrome or youtube or normal apps just as fast as my friend, we both can't tell which is faster, its not noticeable they are both loading apps almost instantly. Maybe if you have like 20 apps to load but its never the case in normal life scenario. I always game on BF1 while having 1 or 2 other game opened and minimized ( I have 32 GB of ram ) while I have browsers open and stuff and I never have any lag while switchin apps or playin games, my 6700k handle this without any issue at all, without any lag, so I'm not sure ryzen will have gains here.. I only see ryzen being better for developper
  5. No, ryzen 5 is good enuff to run a gtx 1080 ti and futur better cards... No worries at all
  6. Makes sense. But when speaking about best performance for gaming, was assuming pairing the CPU with a high-end GPU ( 1070 and + )
  7. I would go for ryzen instead of an i5 for sure. But for MAX performance gaming, I mean, best cpu is still 6700k/7700k for sure
  8. Yeah I gotta agree, I don't think Games will start using more than 8 thread soon... I mean.. we had 8 thread cpu since first i7 gen, thats like 7 years ago, and we still have like 95% of games running on maximum 4 cores... Before the time we see games using mroe than 8 thread I feel like there will be new CPU's already on the market
  9. Why would you buy a Ryzen for gaming only when a 7700K is 10-20% better in Games ??? Even in 4k you still get 5-10% gain in half of the games on the market now. Any idea why would you buy a ryzen for gaming only ?
  10. Don't waste time. Format and re-install. It's faster than troubleshooting IF you are not familiar with this, you probably have a recovery session ( google it, like "hp recovery laptop " and they will tell you what button to press on the boot of ur laptop) and it will prompt a recovery option.
  11. Wether a logo looks good or not is only an opinion I like the ROG logo, looks nice, that back plate, love it
