    It's actually a fairly thick 140mm rad, and as much as I generally tend to be against AIOs, it seems to not fall far behind dual tower heatsinks at all in terms of cooling performance, from what I can see in reviews. It just seems to be a bit on the loud side with the stock fan unfortunately.
     
    That being said, if money's not an issue, getting a new air cooler like the NH-D15 or a Dark Rock Pro 4 would be a good choice, even just for the superior reliability air coolers offer and potentially quieter operation.

    A 120mm AIO on a 9900K is very optimistic. I'd say get a Dark Rock Pro4 or NH-D15

    I am afraid that an old used 120mm AiO is not what you should be using for an i9 9900K if you want to extract the full potential of the processor.
     
    If you do buy a NH-D15 though then you can run it at 5ghz all day long.
