  1. Hello I recently installed PiHole on my Raspberry PI but it doesn't really work that well. All devices im using are directly pointed towards the PiHole. It works great with firefox, but when I'm using Vivaldi, Opera or Chrome it sitll filters a small amont of ads, but by far not as many as it does with firefox. Same problem on my phone since I'm using Chrome. Let's take youtube for example. Filtering ads when I'm using Youtube on a PC with a browser ONLY works with firefox. And the mobile app has the same problem. PiHole doesn't work there at all. Can anybode help me? And just before you asked. I installed the software the same way as Linus did in his tutorial. The PiHole is the only DNS I configured my devices to use. Vivaldi has some kind of setting which has something to do with google's DNS service. I disabled this setting.
  2. I'll see if I get one of those remote-controllable power outlets to work. It seems like the best solution. Do you have any recommendations für cheap 433MHz outlets?
  3. Oh, I didn't know that. Thanks for telling me!
  4. Hello I want to be able to deactivate/activate a wall plug with an arduino. Is there a way to mod an outlet/power strip so I can do this?
  5. I have a GTX 560Ti which has a similar problem. Windows doesn't even recognize it as a 560Ti, it shows up as Microsoft Basic Display Adapter or something like that. And trying to install a driver results in a black screen. I already used DDU and even flashed a new BIOS, nothing worked. I only tested it with Windows 10 but I want to give it another try with Windows 7. Maybe flashing a new BIOS could solve your problem but it didn't work for me.

My bad. I will edit the OP.

    Humble Bundle

I don't want to support stores which sell gray market keys.
  8. I recently bought a X58 oem motherboard with an i7 920, a crappy cooler and other random stuff like cables for 7€. Everything was in an "stuff we want to get rid off"-bin. He even said that the motherboard works but overheats, which was obvious since the cooler was bad and when I looked at the thermal "crust" (you can't call this thermal paste anymore) my first guess was confirmed. But everything works! So for my 7€ I got: - some cables - questionable 350W PSU which had lots of adapters (even a 20 pin to 24 pin) - MSI GT 330 OEM which needs a new bios - Radeon HD 7870 GHz which he told is dead. It works but shows has artifacts on the screen. - Pegatron X58 motherboard with an i7 920 and cooler I also got a 24 inch 1080p monitor for 20€. ?

    Humble Bundle

II know that many steam key seller like mmoga get their keys from the gray market. But when I checked out Humble they mentioned "developers" multiple times on their page. Where does Humble get their keys from?
  10. My first gen Ryzen build took more then 20 seconds for the first boot. Is it able to display something?
  11. I searched for used PCs with Athlon II X4s and I found only two fully build ones for under 70€. That's the used market in Germany.
  12. I forgot to mention that I'm from Germany. People here want a lot of money for their old hardware. I can probably get 20€ for selling the 8GB of DDR2. Maybe selling the individual parts would be a better idea.
  13. CPU: i5 4460 RAM: 8GB DDR3 Motherboard: ASUS H81M2 PSU: 350W FSP HDD: 250GB Case: Terra mATX (with front USB 3.0) ODD No OS, no dedicated GPU CPU: Athlon II X4 630 RAM: 8GB DDR2 Motherboard ASUS M2N-E HDD: 200GB Case: black ATX case, nothing special ODD GPU: 8500GT since there is no iGPU No OS
  14. I don't really want to buy used. THe Galaxy Tab S2 would be an option as well. It is currently on sale for 10€ but it only runs Android 7. I don't have a problem with Android 7 or 8 but I want to keep my device for some years and I really don't want to use Android N in 2021.
