  1. Thanks for all the help people! Going to order a nice computer
  2. I found a Corsair CX450M, that is atleast tier 3. Also, found a Corsair SF450, which is tier 1, but also 30eu more expensive. Tier 3 should be enough right? Or do you really recommend going for tier 1 or 2, even when it is 30bucks ontop.
  3. Added it to the first post, thanks! Hmmm The best price quality. So at the moment around 650eu. Also I tried to find a tier 1 or 2 PSU at 450W, but it is really hard to find one.
  4. Aaah but budget is also a problem. ^.^ I thought this would be the most price quality, since it is not garbage, but also not top of the line. I tried, but the SSD was not available in PCPartpicker.
  5. Dear peoples, Last round of advice before I order a new pc for my girlfriend. So that I have the best possible options for the money. Her demands: - Must be small - Must be fast (she works a lot with premier, photoshop, solidworks etc) - Not to ugly At the moment I have this configuration: CPU: i7-6700 MOBO: ASRock H110-ITX Case: Fractal design core 500 CPU fan: Cooler Master TX3 i RAM: Crucial 16GB ddr4 PSU: Cooler Master GM G450M SSD: Kingston SSDNow UV400 240gb EDIT: PCPartPicker list here: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/m6FHzM And yes, I am missing a graphics card, but she gets mine when I order a RX480. Also, she gets a 1TB drive I still have lying around. Does this all fit inside the case? Thanks for the help!
  6. ultrawide should be no problem at that resolution with that card. Even though I must recommend saving up and going for a 1440p ultrawide. This because everyone I heard talking about ultrawides is saying the a 1080p ultrawide really lacks in the vertical range. That the pixels just aren't enough. Also 1440p becomes more and more the standard (you are saying you are going for a 1080/980TI) than a 1440p ultrawide is waaaay more suitable for you, and you will enjoy it WAY more than a 1080p ultrawide. Make sure you don't regret not going for the 1440p ultrawide... (try saving up one or two more months) Also a 34" with 1080p resolution is a way to low pixel density, which makes it really ugly. At that format go for 1440p. 1080p might be ok until 28"-isch (don't quote me on the exact numbers, but around that). Hope it helps
  7. Depends on the resolution you are gaming at. I would only pick 8gb if you plan to go 1440p windescreen. Otherwise go for 4gb. Also save up for a non-reference 480, best choice atm.
  8. Jup, it is. You don't expect it at all, but it is really good.
  9. Might want to tell us first at what resolution you want to game.
  10. I would say, go for a 1070 with a gsync monitor. That way you can get a better combo. If you really must pick between the two, go for the Dell. I have one atm, and am really really happy with it! Not the best gaming monitor, but does the general stuff really nicely. 1080 is a bit overkill for 1440. My advice is still go for a 1070 with a nice gsync monitor, or a RX 480 (might even go crossfire) and a freesync monitor.
  11. With that budget, not better to go second hand?
  12. Congrats on the job!

  13. Totally underrated: Spec Ops: The Line Insanely good story. Also Wolfenstein: The new order Will tell you more when I think about it
  14. Here, a youtube video of a i5-6400 that almost never bottlenecks(only in extreme rare cases). So a 6600k overclocked will not bottleneck... So save your 100 bucks that an i7 costs extra.
  15. DawN, you got any benchmarks that confirm that? All info I have confirm that a 6600k will definetly NOT bottleneck a 1070...
  16. Hahaha the fun thing is, I currently have a 1440p screen and it is powered by a 7850... And I can play most games on medium(some even on high). So a 980TI will not be a problem on any front. Don't worry
  17. Go atleast for the r9 380. The 370 isn't really worth it.
  18. Aahh Thanks a bunch to everyone for the help guys!
  19. i5 6600k, should be enough for about anything.
  20. That much? Hmmm might even go for one, and upgrade to two later on. Are the 8gb really needed? I mean, the benchmarks between the 4gb and the 8gb versions really don't differ that much at all, might change at that resolution though... Anyone got any experience with that? EDIT: Got a good video on the results on ultrawide: Still not really clear on the 4gb vs 8gb
  21. I got a good 650w now. Might also be enough right for two?
  22. Dear peoples, I hope you people van help me with a little dilemma. I am planning to make the transition to ultrawide(3440x1440). But, I need some honest advice about a graphics card. As seen, the monitor I chose has freesync. So the card will probably be a AMD card. Now the question I have: WIll the RX480 be able to play the most recent game in native resolution at 60fps? It is ok if the settings are around medium settings, because it is just not realistic to play on ultra on the resolution with the RX480. Also, before the comments are like: g-sync is better/1070 will be better. It is also because of budget reasons I am sticking to freesync. The monitor I picked is around 800eu, while the gsync monitors start at 1150eu. And that is only the monitor. Hope you guys can help me with this! Thanks in advance! EDIT: An other monitor with a nvidea card might also be a option. But I like the fact that I can freesync.
  23. O wow... You just saved my ass. Since I might need server grade mobo that does not support ddr4, it might even cancel out the price benefits the xeon has. Hmmm Need to find out what mobos do work with the xeons. EDIT: Ok, I just did some research. A Xeon requires a C232 chipset. There is only one mobo available in mini-itx size and C232 chipset. That board is 180 eu though. The H110 board I have now is 70eu. So the Xeon itself is cheaper, but the mobo makes is waaaayyy more expensive! Just added this, so if other people want to use this topic for their builds, they don't make the same mistake.
  24. Thanks for the help guys! Will for for the Xeon. The small factor form case just isn't suited for overclocking (I know, I can go for watercooling) and the Xeon sounds nice! I think I will order the above build with a xeon in it. Xeons are also the same socket as the 6700, right? 1151? Edit: see post below why Xeon won't work.
  25. Wanted to go for a ASRock H110M-ITX, was the cheapest and also had enough features that she needs. The build around the CPU will be this: Mobo: ASRock H110M-ITX (since no OC) case: Fractal core 500 CPU cooler: Cooler Master TX3 i (for sound reasons only) ram: Crucial CT2K8G4DFD8213 (16gb ddr 4) PS: Cooler Master GM G450M SSD: Kingston SSDNow UV400 240gb Graphics card: 7850 (old card of mine) HDD: Some 1 TB drive I have lying around Why go for a Xeon when they are identical to a 6700? 6700 is 320eu and the xeon e3-1230-v5 is 275 eu. So ye, the xeon is around 50eu cheaper! Thanks for the tip So a Xeon would be a better option?
