whats the difference between g sync and non g sync im not very good with monitors

It is 200 dollars. And before posting, please do research yourself. Watch a YouTube video about g-sync and freesync. G- and freesync are interesting if you have money to spare.

  2. This makes no sense. A 144hz monitor will always run at 144hz. Doesn't matter what graphics card. Freesync is a function of that only will work with a amd card. So yes. It will run at 144hz with a amd card

Bought a second-hand galaxy s6 from DudebroMcsuckass and turns out that the the usb charge port is busted. Cant get a refund and people are quoting me $200+ for repair.

This leaves me with the problem of transferring files from my pc to the phone via wifi. I want to know if its possible to transfer data to my phone connected via wifi to my modem from my pc connected to the modem by ethernet.

Or will i have to get a wifi usb dongle for the pc?

Almost all phones these days have some form of syncing capabilities. Like: google drive, dropbox, etc. Or you could just email the files to yourself. Also, instead of throwing the phone away, try to order the part at dealextreme.com or aliexpress.com. Use a guide from Ifixit to open you phone. You got nothing to lose right? I mean, you have the chance to repair your phone for a fraction of the normal cost.

  4. If you are not a pro fps player, go 1440p ultrawide! I went there and never want to go back. It is truely amazing! :D And since I just game for fun and don't care about the difference between 75hz and 120hz, a widescreen simply gives the most amazing result ever. RPG, shooters, rts... Everything just looks more awesome.

If you are a pro fps player, get a high 120hz normal 1440p screen. That's my idea to it.

  5. Dear Linus and Co.,

Just yesterday I saw your promotional video of the Razer product and I thought I should reply. I would like to go for the sleek, slim, sexy, elegant, but still powerful new Razer Blade Stealth. With this laptop I will make sure that, not only the world will know that I am simply awesome, but also that the color pink is totally hip. I will promise that, when I win the laptop, I will always have a pink-themed background. Starting of course with your lambo! When I have finally convinced all my friends at my University that pink is the way to go, I will then move on to the working field. There my mission will continue. The other backgrounds I currently am considering are: my little pony, the pink Ferrari Enzo on google images, and myself in a totally pink outfit (pictures on request).

So please Linus and Co., help me spread my love for the color pink, by giving me the new Razer Stealth!

    Kisses and Hugs,

I had to buy one, no big deal, just thought that when you're buying a 800€ (incl. taxes) monitor it would come with everything you need to make the best use for it.

You mean for the Dual controller software? Yes, yes I do, and it was driving me crazy, especially the sound notification.

I kinda solved it by going to notifications settings on Windows 10 and disabled the sound and the "show in action centre" for it. Now at least it isn't as bothersome as before.

Ye, understand the feeling. Totally agree.

But ment more like that when the screen turns on, that it says: 'make sure you use the supplied cable'. And when you press: 'never show again',it still shows...

My my, what a coincidence. I just got mine last sunday, didn't really have a chance to properly play around with it but it's perfect compared to my previous cheapo-24" 1080p monitor.

BTW, were you also as annoyed as I was to find out they don't include the USB cable for the USB hub uplink?

Ye, kinda sucks. Had one spare, so not that big of a prob. You also have the problem that the onscreen messages won't stay away? Even when I press 'Don't show again', next time it also just shows.

  8. Not by default. Only I already use a 1440p screen. So I can never go back to a screen with 1080 pixels in height. It is just not high enough :P

But if you are fine with a 1080p ultrawide and don't mind it being smaller and less pixels, no ofcourse not. They are also more budget friendly.

That was lightning fast, thank you. Have you got any idea what should I get? Dualcore, quadcore, etc.

Ok, when you start asking these kind of questions...

What is your budget? With her workload I would go for a i7-6700(or I7-6800). When you know how to overclock, might even go for the k version. But note, a cpu upgrade might go with a mobo upgrade, since socket is different than yours. I believe you run on a 1155, now we run a 1151. So keep that in mind.

Also, Adding 8gb of ddr3 ram is around 30eu atm, so I would do that anyway. That little money for a big boon.
