This is a good thread to watch. I'm also looking into getting a laptop. I'm leaning towards the inspiron 7000 as well. Aside from the price I'm also after the warranty and on site service. I'm open to getting something else if the quality is better. Is warranty something you are considering on getting as well? Does warranty even matter nowadays? How long before you'd replace it?

I'd wait and see if they still would release one... looks like they passed the torch to Nintendo... I would have gotten the newer shield tablet if ever they release one

I'd go with a shield tablet if I'm going to buy one. But since I'm El Cheapo hehe I'm saving up...

I've always been a desktop person, PC Master Race!!! I'm on a desktop right now but lately I can't stay in front of my computer than I want to. So I'm also planning to use the tablet to remote to my PC (local network). I've used my phone Samsung S5 but I find myself wanting more

Hi All! Thank you for even opening my cheesy titled thread. I'm very interested in getting an android tablet for years now. Considered Samsung, Nvidia Shield and China Brands when I was comparing specs, I want power on my tablet. I'll be using it mainly for games and netflix I've been waiting since rumors of the new shield tablet came out around 2014? But I wasn't sold on the product when they released it. I felt it was a step down from the previous version. I'm guessing its the inner cheap in me that prevented me to get it as well Now I THINK I'm ready to get a tablet but is it still a good time to get one? TL;DR: I WANT to buy a tablet, do you guys think its still a good investment at this time? If yes what tablet should I get? Thanks!
