well i see you got some useful advice about your filmography there .  i would try a changing the sata cable to a better one, one with allot of shielding, its about the only thing thats simple and relatively cheap.

if you want to test if its the sata cable boot a iso os like ubuntu and see if it does it running of the iso, which is in ram.  then its something expensive with poor shielding

I would try it with other phones, if its that one i might go to the doctor as there is a chance your phone has been cooking your testiculs for the past  several years

yes  but if your budget is really tight a 2tb SSHD might be more economical.

but get a SSD if you can!  and get at least a 240GB+

And I guess that's my main issue here. What we do is incredibly time consuming and expensive. Many type of content that "get lots of views" are (relatively speaking) very easy and fast to make but we work very hard every day to keep improving.
I just want the money to keep investing in making what we do better.
Usually I can be pretty calculating and logical about things, but I'm incredibly passionate about what we do here at LMG so I used a word I probably shouldn't have.

there is something to get you started.  you need to pick a case ect. work out if you want to go amd or intel ect.

I will say if you go amd you can get a r9 290 but with intell the budget is stretched even more

I would give a serous warning about cheap/off brand External Molex Plug or hard dive external power bricks.

In my office we have bought loads (10+) of these about half have melted hard dives sometimes it’s the one we got for £5 online sometimes it’s the £40.  Generally the voltage is all over the place dependant on the load.  It seems like there are a lot of Chinese knockoffs on amazon.

It quite a expensive problem our worst one was plugging a new ssd in to the new £40 one and it melting the ssd with smoke coming out of it.

Be warned test what you get first before plunging in anything expensive.

My guess would be that most of the components would draw more power than PoE could deliver. And even if it didn't I doubt it'd solve the "problem" of it being too hard to place them in some locations.

Think about the amount of places around your TV you could run a speaker cable. Quite a few. Then think of the number of places you could run an extension cord without tripping over the cord or having to get a sparky in to put in a new point. Probably less spaces but still quite a few, for me I could probably creatively place them without much hassle because I have a couple of power sockets behind my couch. Now how many places could you run Ethernet, PoE no less? I have Ethernet everywhere but I'd need to get a PoE switch and then run cables from my TV for this. And given these things only need power, even if it is doable, would PoE be any easier/cheaper than getting a sparky in to put in a new socket.

More to the point if you're into this idea you're probably both happy with these speakers and don't have a surround setup already. If you're in that head space do you really care about the rear channels in the slightest? Or will you just end up after buying the rears for a bundle just putting them in another room to extend the sound into another corner....

sounds like a lose ribbon cable.  it ether needs replaced (the cable) or the cable is just lose, there held on with tape normally.  YouTube your make and model screen replacement and you will see all the needed steps to do the repair.  if it needs more and its the screen you can get almost any laptop screen on eBay for under £40.

    my thoughts

first off get 500gb ssds as they have enough space that you can actual work of the drive allot of the time.  don't get 1tb storage drives it getting small, 3tb main storage drives are the sweet spot right now.

    The cpu/board/ram/psu all look fine.

given your monitor number/budget you could get a titan.  its both a gaming card and compute card.   i think you can run up to 6 monitors of a single display port provided there not all crazy resolutions

    http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3J2dy

edit well apparently a titan can only do 4 monitors http://www.cubixgpu.com/catalog/nvidia-geforce-gtx-titan

not sure how you go beyond 4 monitors

go into the router and do the firmware update.

second fix the channel to 1 then 6 then 12. give each a go for a couple of hours or days and see if any channel is better than the other.

if you have any cheap WiFi devices on your network its probably one of them interfering with every thing on the WiFi.  Things like 5$ usb wifi dongles on ebay.

apart from that it might be environmental ie the high voltage power line running over or under your house or the FBI surveillance van round the corner.

@Ivyk replacing the motherboard should work fine.  i would recommend getting a second hand board of ebay as dell boards hare there own stuff on them allot of the time for the case.

What make/model is it. I work allot with dells, there pretty good if you get the workstation grade stuff the (precision)  the oplex is pretty crappy but is so cheap at least on the enterprise level.

So I've just put the stock cooler back on, and it started working again. I also tried unplugging the fans on the stock cooler, and it still worked. I really have no idea what's the problem right now, maybe the graphics card wasn't plugged in right before. I'll put the g10 back on and see if it works and take some pictures as well.

you could use windows to make a image of the raid 0. then delete the raid 0 and restore that partition to disk 1. (taking up some of the unallocated space)

it might work, sort-off.  messing with raid/drive setups is generally a bad idea once there up and running.
