  1. Hello!

I’m currently looking to buy a MacBook for when I start studying computer engineering later this year. However, I can’t decide between going for the base 13” (8th gen Intel) and upgrading just the RAM or paying extra for the 4 thunderbolt model. Will there be any major performance or longevity advantages to going for the more expensive version?

    Thanks for your help!

  2. Hello!

I've seen the benchmarks and the Nvidia GTX 1060 outperforms the RX 480 at pretty much every game.

However, with DirectX 12 and vulkan the 480 is pretty much evenly matched, if not slightly better.

So, which one would you get? Is DX12 gonna become the standard anytime soon? Is it true that Nvidia's GPUs become obsolete faster than AMD's due to a lack of driver updated for them?

I need whatever one I get to last me a while so I obviously want the best option for the future.

These are the cards in question:

    (Yes, I like ASUS :P)

    Thanks for the help!

  3. Hey!

I'm starting college soon and need a new laptop. I was set on getting a macbook as I've never owned one and have only heard good things.

Then HP came out with their new laptops and now I just can't decide. Also, Apple will release new ones in October apparently and I need it before then (is it worth spending that much money on a laptop which is soon to be outdated?).

The laptop is to be used for schoolwork, as said; video editing (very light) and gaming (very, very light. Imagine Wow level).

These are the two I'm thinking off:

The HP is only 100$ more expensive since I have a discount on their store.

    Thanks for your help!
