I replaced mobo and ram to g.skill

I recently made a new custom pc with an msi 970 motherboard , a 1tb western cavar blue hard drive, a amd cpu black version, a 500 evga power bronze certified supply g.skill ram 2 4g sticks which are compatible and a asus optical drive. I installed ram and cpu into the motherboard and plugged front panel cords and everything but graphics card I press the power button but fans will just turn on in short bursts the psu is not compatible with the mobo but I see other people use it too pls help me
