  1. Hello guys, a few months ago I got a new laptop. Asus Zephyrus G14 2022 with Ryzen 7 6800HS and Radeon 6700S. In the beginning I used it for programming and calls but recently I had time to play some games on it and it has a very odd problem. 5-10 minutes into a game it shuts off and restarts, it is as if I use the restart button on a motherboard. I thought it is because of high thermals but I ran Cinebench, AIDA64 and FurMark on and it didn't turn off even once. I ran some of them simultaneously too, I used AIDA64 to stress test the system memory and the SSD too, but still no shutdowns/restarts. The problem only occurs during gaming and sharing screen on Discord. Has any of you had this issue with Asus laptops? To me it looks like it is a software problem and if possible I would not like to go through the hassle of warranty repair, of course if it is a hardware issue I will have to. I found some people saying that it could be caused by ARMOURY CRATE, and one guy with a similar problem said that he went to fix it and it turned out to be the motherboard. Can you give me any tips how can I check if it is a software or a hardware issue and also any tips on fixing it? Thanks
  2. Yeah the server is just for me and some friends 100 100 network should be able to handle this easily Edit: there shouldn't be more than 7 8 people online at a time
  3. So do you thing the old i5 which is as good in single thread as that 60 dollar xeon, do you think it can outperform the online hosts
  4. Hi guys, I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this topic but I'm planning on building a pc exclusively for server hosting that will get better performance than the shared web hosting options. I'm looking for someone who has experience with online hosting and also hosting on a machine of their own. I need something cheap, at the moment I'm looking towards the Intel Xeon E3 1270, I'm not sure if it is going to be able to outperform the online solutions that advertise of using 10900Ks and different cpus of similar single thread performance but because the servers are shared I seem to get way worse performance than my R5 3600 almost 2 fold. Me and some friends are going to start a new server when 1.18 comes out and last time when we played on 1.16 we had some problems with lag while using the online hosts, I have tried a few the provide very similar performance and the only option that I have for better performance I think is a separate PC just for hosting. Thanks in advance
  5. Hi guys a few months ago I built a new PC and I am playing a lot of games, all of them are running great. Today I downloaded Minecraft and it is running pretty bad (90-100fps) System specs: Ryzen 5 3600 RX 5700XT 16GB of ram Also the game is flickering when I am in the menus and move the mouse. How can I fix this and improve performance or is just the game badly optimized for AMD, thanks for the help
  6. I have a really simple question, is the 3700X worth buying just for gaming, from benchmarks I have seen that it is only 5% faster and it is quite a bit more expensive but I still needed to ask. Rest of the build is: 5700XT ASUS B450-F Gaming 16GB DDR4-3200 CL16 750W PSU SSDs Thanks for the help
  7. Hello guys, after all the waiting I have done the past months for Ryzen 3rd gen it is finally here. I am going to be building a new PC with the Ryzen 5 3600 and I wan't to build it in the Dan Case V4 (https://www.dan-cases.com/dana4.php), but I can't find a good air cooler for the build, hope that I can find some help here. Thanks in advance!
  8. oh i thought you were talking about b350 vs b450 yeah also the only big advantage of x470 is SLI support so he doesnt need that
  9. you are not paying more for most brands and models and if you do it is like 5 bucks
  10. Ok so keep using pcpartpicker it is a great site also I suggest getting a b450 mother board because they have $5 difference at most which I think is worth the time you will save from not updating your BIOS. Also as he said the 2600 is the same as the 1600X you will just need to get your friend to apply a light overclock on it at some point if you need more performance (you don't need to oc your CPU if you are playing on 60Hz panel and if you are not doing heavy CPU tasks). You also will need a PSU. I suggest a 500W 80 Plus gold, just to be safe. You dont want to get a cheap PSU If you want you can get a after market cooler for more silent operation. For the GPU it is better to get the best that your budget can fit so a 1070 ti when overclocked i basically a stock 1080. Go with it if have money left. I don't know how are the prices in India but probably RAM is cheap enough for you to get 16GB. You will also need a case Just choose one with goo reviews on YT and good looks and price that fits your budget of course. I suggest getting a 250GB SSD M.2 Nvme if you can aford it otherways a SATA on is okay too.On the SSD you put the games that you often play and the OS. Put in a 2TB HDD for bulk storage and you are done.
