Because I am a noob, I was wondering if I can run sli on this motherboard considering that sli needs at least an x8 connection where as x-fire need x4. Motherboard is in the link https://www.pccasegear.com/products/27599/msi-h97-gaming-3-motherboard

Hey everybody, Im new here. i was just wondering if my 80+ gold 850w power supply can handle 2 MSI GTX 980's running in sli. i have some money sitting around and decided to buy a second 980 to pair with my current one. Any information will help thanks
