  1. So is there no way to load a fan/pump profile into the AIO? Kinda like how you can load a DPI profile into a mouse and it will stay like that without any software?
  2. I was planning on getting the X63 for my 10700k, but the X73 is like $20 CAD more so should I go with that instead (Or are there better options around $200-250 CAD)? I do plan on overclocking my 10700k. Thanks
  3. Also I understand that AMD has some kick ass cpu's out right now, however, I'm not familiar with them AT ALL and from what I've seen, AMD's offerings aren't that much better for the price (in Canada) than intel so I just thought I'd play it safe and go intel. Plus I'm familiar with overclocking on intel only.
  4. Yeah that makes sense. Personally I'm a hardcore gamer so I like to eek out every last FPS from my games lol. Thanks for the input.
  5. Well, it is a 165hz monitor and I would like to crank every setting to max and get as close to 165 fps as possible in all games. For instance, even GTA V might give the 3080 a run for its money if every single setting is maxed out.
  6. I definitely WON'T be buying windows for $170 LOL. Yeah I'll prolly buy it from Kinguin or something. Thanks for the input.

  8. Thank you guys for the input. I'm probably going to get the RM850x, but do you guys know what the quality is like? I understand that it's tier A, but I've always had EVGA psu's, so is this corsair PSU built with high quality in mind (the electricals, etc)? Or do you think I need to increase my PSU budget for a quality PSU? Thanks.
  9. Yeah I'm not actually going to buy that windows key for $170 lol. It's just in there to show which OS I'm going run. Thanks for the concern though.
  10. Should I get the NZXT Kraken X63 to cool my I7 10700k? I do plan on overclocking it and I want to make sure it runs cool without breaking the bank. Would the x63 be good enough? If not PLEASE feel free to express your opinion as to which cooler I should get. Thanks. 11. For this build I have taken a look at the psu tier list and there's just so many options. What is the highest quality psu I could get for around $200 CAD? 12. I appreciate your feedback. Could you please explain why it is better?
  13. Hi guys, please feel free to critique the build I'm about to make in the coming weeks (some parts are on the way-disregard the prices in the list). Also do you think 750 W will be enough for this system (planning to overclock)? Additionally, do you believe an i7 10700k will bottleneck the RTX 3080 at 1440p? Should I have gone with a better cpu—I am only planning to game though. Thank you. 14. Specifically at 1440p 165 hz gaming. In games such as gta 5, pubg, etc.
  15. Budget (including currency): $3000 CAD Country: Canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly games only, but want no bottlenecking. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I have just ordered a RTX 3080 for $1200 so include that in the budget. Also include a 144 hz 1440p monitor (ips) in the budget. Thanks!
  16. I have tried older GPU drivers and it did not fix the issue. Also, during stress tests, the GPU does not flicker.
  17. That's a good point, but I don't have a second pc to test it on.
  18. A few weeks ago, windows automatically installed an update and after that, I tried playing rocket league and the screen goes black for a second every 5 seconds. Note: I have been using this setup for nearly 4 years with ZERO issues and I have no OC's on and nothing is overheating. I tried on GTA 5 and Valorant and it does the same. The flickers occurs on both of my monitors and sometimes at the same time, but I can still hear the game and there's no stuttering. Additionally, on MSI Afterburner, when I increase the voltage limit, the flickering becomes MUCH more frequent. With the 1070, I also get issues during restarts where sometimes the screen just goes totally black and I have to hard reboot. Pls help Things I have tried: Reinstalling windows (did not fix) DDU and reinstalling gpu drivers (did not fix) Trying different monitors separably (did not fix) Trying the IGPU (fixed the issue) Trying a new gpu (fixed the issue) Trying new power supply (did not fix the issue) Tried dusting pc (did not fix) I really have a hard time believing that my card is dying because what are the chances it occurs right after a windows update? My theory is that the new windows update installed a new version of Microsoft store nvidia control panel that is compatible with the RTX 2070 SUPER that I tested, but not compatible with my 1070, or it is glitching with my 1070?. 19. On BFV, not only is my gpu 100% maxed, but my cpu is also around 80-90% usage. These are on max settings. on low setting gpu usage comes down to 80% and same with cpu usage.
  20. stress test is pretty much at 100% usage. I tried minecraft and was getting 15% gpu usage and limiting the power didn't change anything.
  21. Off. there are no frame limiters at all.
  22. Sorry for the repost - My gpu usage is around 40% and my cpu usuage is at 50%. I know this is not a bottleneck, so why is this happening? I have reinstalled my graphics drivers numerous times. I'm playing at 2560x1080 (ultrawide) at medium-ish settings (I want a lot of frames), but no matter what settings I choose, It's like an equilibrium and gets me back to 70-80 fps with extremely low settings, or the gpu usage will go up with extremely high settings, but the fps stays the same. Pls help. Even in Unigne Valley Benchmark, the gpu only gets up to 95-97% usage. I have tried the "use max performance" settings in the nvidia control panel, etc. I have also ensured that nothing is overheating. Pls help.
