  1. We were able to produce a beep by removing the ram to confirm the speaker worked. Still no beeps with the gpu.
  2. He found the beeper that came with it and he said there was no beeps
  3. The only problem with that is he lives in Canada and I live in the US and we are doing this over skype. Yes I know not the best idea
  4. Its a EVGA 600W. We have tried the card in a different slot with the same problem and Im 99% sure the PCIe cables were properly connected. There were also no beep codes The only thing that happens is the power led flashes once. EDIT: This is first pc and also does not have a pc to test the card on
  5. Yes, I did connect the dispay to the gpu Instead of the mobo
  6. CPU:Intel i7-6700k MOBO: z170-e RAM: Corsair 2x8gb GPU: GTX 1070 PSU: 600W OS: None I am posting this on the behave of my friend who is building a new pc, I have tried to help him to the best of my ability and It has stumped me. The pc will boot just fine into the bios without the card, but with the card the power led flashes and nothing happens. We have tried to take the card out and go in to the bios and set the default to pcie but it goes back to auto every time with no luck. My guess is the card might be dead but this is my friend first pc and I dont want to provide such bad news without being 100% sure. So if you guys have any idea of why It will not post that would be appreciated. Thanks. EDIT: I have also updated the bios to latest 1902
