  1. Oh ahah, I sold the laptop a few days ago, I tried to overclock my graphics card exactly like I saw a video on Youtube with Afterburner but it always crashed and I had to force reboot it, but thank you for your reply
  2. Okay that's just what I thought, I'm gonna give it a try and hope I don't screw anything else, thanks!
  3. Well, I can't actually "dual boot" since I can only have one hard drive at a time connected to the pc. (I'm sorry for being such a noob) I'm just worried that installing Mac OS will configure anything in the BIOS and then when I try to boot the Windows hard drive it will give me an error of some sort. But thank you anyway
  4. Hi, I'm really sorry if this has been answered already, but I have a laptop and I'm willing to do an experiment on it, although I don't want to face any boot problems. I have 2 hard drives, of course I'll have to swap them, but since I don't want to keep switching OS's it won't be a problem So, I'd like to know if I can install an Hackintosh (Hard drive 2) and keep Windows (Hard Drive 1) and after I configure my Hackintosh on Hard Drive 2 I can simply swap in the Hard Drive 1 and boot Windows like it would normally do without any bootloader conflicts or problems. Will BIOS let me boot from any of them without any major problems? Thank you all
  5. Thank you all for the replies!! I might be trading the laptop for a desktop soon, but I'd like to see how far I can go, sorry for taking so long, I've been on Holidays aha
  6. Hey guys, I looked for it and I didn't find anything, but I hope I'm not starting an already solved thread or anything. I own an Asus X550CC (check my profile for more info) and of course it is not a great gaming machine, but it's been doing a decent job, it lets me play with not too bad graphics and not too bad framerates some of the best titles out there. GTA V, CS GO, ETS2, DIRT 3... Well, even though I could say they are quite playable, I'd like to get rid of some occasional stutter without having to go down on graphics. I've tried to use MSI Afterburner but it seems to always crash my drivers because it's not that stable. So does anyone know any way or any values I can change so I can overclock it without crashing? Thank you guys.
  7. If someone happens to find me and starts wondering, no, I am not the real SuperMario, I'm really sorry...

Also this is a tech community... Well... I love tech... But my wallet doesn't, so please, don't judge me on my computer specs... Or I would be what's considered a homeless man in this community...

  8. Well, hello there LinusTechTips crew , I am unhappy to say that due to the fact that I'm a student, my gaming peripherals are a Logitech Classic Keyboard 200, pretty standard, gets the job done a Trust GXT 25 mouse and Sennheiser MX 375 earbuds. Thank you all for doing this kind of stuff so you can give your followers a chance of dreaming a bit higher about their gaming setup. Good job guys!
