  1. If this new channel is something that you wanted to see from LMG, may I humbly suggest Skill Up's "This week in video games". He always makes his show with the perfect amount of humour, in-jokes and relevant gaming and tech-related news. I'm interested to see how these two shows will differ
  2. Does anyone have experience with this cooler? This video made me interested in replacing my failing AIO EVGA cooler for my Titan X Pascal.
  3. I just bought a Sennheiser GSP 370 upgraded from a Logitech G933 and I've encountered quite an interesting bug. With the GSP 370, whenever I mute Windows either through my keyboards mute button or when I mute directly through Windows... Nothing happens. Windows correctly detects that it's muted by showing the mute icon on the taskbar and in the volume mixer, but it still plays audio. When I plug in my G933s the issue is gone as Windows correctly doesn't play any audio when muted. If I switch to my monitors onboard speakers, the issue is gone, it's muted when it's suppoised to be muted. Increasing or decreasing the volume works as intended and will mute when I pull the audio to zero through volume mixer. Maybe this is a known issue with the GSP370s, but I haven't found anything to support this theory through Google or the Sennheiser forums. I've tried updating my mobo's audio drivers, updating the GSP370s firmware and the Sennheiser gaming suite that goes with it. I'd be very grateful if someone would try helping me with this issue. I really miss being quickly able to mute my sound. Thanks
  4. I loaded optimized defaults in the BIOS which fixed the issue, somehow. I'm now running at 970 EVO speeds Thank you so much for your helpfulness
  5. Happy new year!I just got my 970 Evo. Decided to try and benchmark it. Results were less than ideal at about 1/2 of what I expected.Upon some inspection, I saw that, according to CrystalDiskInfo, my SSD was running at PCIe 2x.https://imgur.com/a/lGd2aT2 Latest NVMe drivers were installed recently. Samsung Magician has this to show: https://imgur.com/a/Jv8sWqQ, https://imgur.com/a/3nKMmRoI'm stumped on this one. I can't discern any issues when consulting my mobo manual and I've had no luck with Google so I'm turning to you for assistance.Specs:W10 (recently installed on the SSD in question)6700KMSI Z170A xpower gaming titanium edition (https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/Z170A-XPOWER-GAMING-TIT...)Titan x (Pascal)According to the mobo's manual my 970 Evo is in the M2_2 slot. Swapping slots didn't help.My GPU in the PCI_E1 slot (running at 16x)A Wi-Fi card in the PCI_E7 slot (running at 1x). Removing this didn't help.An HDD in the SATA8 slot. Removing it didn't help.I've poked around in the BIOS settings, but have failed to find anything that seemed relevant to me.Any and all help is greatly appreciated
  6. This isn't an issue for me at all, I just got really curious. Are you sure the heat spreader is the reason for this massive discrepancy? Also, why doesn't TDP = heat output? I thought this was pretty much the case with computer electronics.
  7. My 240mm AIO keeps my 90w TDP CPU at 80C under load. My 120mm AIO for my Titan X (Pascal) at 200w+ TDP keeps it at max 50C under load. I'm just curious how this is possible, so if you've got any ideas....
  8. I got curious when I saw that having only the FPU box ticked my temperatures would reach the low 90's. I mean if that's how people measured their temps and them reporting their temps barely even reaching 80 degrees, then my cooling solution would be terrible, which obviously worried me somewhat. I just very recently got into all this techy stuff so I feel I should lay the groundworks before I started to make any assumptions. Thank you for your answers :>
  9. There are several options in Aida64 concerning what parts of the CPU you want to stress. I can't recall them ever saying what boxes they've got ticked when they do their stress / temperature testing. If I want to compare my Aida64 results to theirs I need to know what boxes they have ticked. If anyone knows anything about this, I'd love for them to speak out :>
