If your confident building it I would rather buy separate parts and build it myself everytime.
But annoyingly looking at what it's got in it you can't complain, later in the future you might need to upgrade the PSU or maybe get some performance RAM if you feel you need it.
The fans might not be that brilliant, but there's no mention of what they are so.

This looks pretty solid to me for gaming in 1080p. I would recommend checking out PC Part Picker here: pcpartpicker.com/  and seeing if you can put together a similar build for a lower cost.

I mean, if we're only talking about $10 here, and you're concerned about the number of connections, this seems like a pretty simple decision. Just my two cents.

You don't need an aftermarket cooler unless you really care about noise and aesthetics

For a locked Skylake, the stock cooler will work perfectly. The CM Hyper 212 evo is a great option if you really want to buy another cooler.

Just to be clear, your graphics card has HDMI out, and you're adapting the HDMI out to display port in on the monitor. Correct?

Either way, you shouldn't have any issue at 2560x1080. HDMI 1.4 supports this resolution.

    A 6600K will not bottleneck an R9 380.

If you're patient, I'm sure there will be more 1060s available soon. I would advise waiting.

I wouldn't buy five dollar headphones from an Ebay vendor who types their item description in Comic Sans. You're just asking to get screwed.

    Check out Swappa here: https://swappa.com/

These are private sellers with verified working devices for sale. You can save quite a bit on a newer device that's open box in mint condition. I purchased my HTC One M8 on Swappa about a year ago. Great experience and helpful staff.

Is there anything holding the serial port on besides solder?

I *think* you can remove it without causing issues to the board, but I can't say that I've ever done it myself.

Not too bad. You may want to look into different motherboards since this isn't strictly a gaming PC. Maybe an Asus board (I personally prefer their build quality to Gigabyte). You might be able to save a few dollars and get a higher quality board.

Excellent case choice. I just built a computer for my mom an dad with this exact case a couple of months ago. Couldn't have been happier.

Totally understand, Ive got a budget to abide from and with that budget I don't think I would be able to afford the "top of the line" stuff, but the beauty of building a pc is that there is always potential to upgrade.

Last thing I can think of is re-seating your 24 pin power connector and the CPU power connector for good measure. If that doesn't work...

Like I said though, I absolutely hate to make decisions like that without seeing it first hand.

    I don't think the 6600k bottlenecks a 1070 and definetly not when OC'd to 4.6ghz

Personally, I will spend a fair amount of extra cash for features that I don't need just to get a motherboard that matches the color scheme and aesthetics that I'm going for.
