  1. So I recently moved my PC (disconnected from power for a while), and now the "On" button on the case is blinking in sleep mode, I just want to know how to disable this effect. The motherboard LEDs also reset to "breathing" but i disabled that in the BIOS, however I seem to have forgotten where to disable the power LED. It really wouldn't be a problem but the LED on this case is bright enough to light up my entire room from under my desk. Case: Cooler Master Masterbox 510L; Mobo: Asus Z270-p prime P.S.- Sorry if this is more of a motherboard topic, didn't know which category was more appropriate.
  2. Hello, I'm wondering how does USB 3.1 SS compare to a wall adapter for charging your phone, Is it worth the convenience to have my phone beside my PC or should i just plug into a wall outlet? Now I know that USB 2.0 and 3.0 are way slower compared to wall power for charging but I noticed that my PC has two USB 3.1 SS ports on the back. So how does it compare? I'm way too lazy to test the charging times myself, maybe someone knows. Regards.
  3. Hello, I have some old soviet 30w speakers that are really good but their ohm rating is 4 ohms, but my Denon AVR is rated from 8-16 ohms, Could I connect them together as rear speakers to compliment the front 90w, 8ohm ones or would something go boom? Thanks in advance.
  4. That, and sound cards never really go outdated, except if they come out with a new pci interface i guess.
  5. I only built the PC at the end of the summer, with audio never really considered, so I don't really want to buy a new mobo, especially when here in Latvia the used PC part market is kinda small. So i'd have a spare mobo which isn't used.
  6. I might just get the Sound Blaster Audigy RX, connect it via optical and let the speakers' DAC handle the rest. It's 20 Euro cheaper than the one you recommended and the one you recommended is out of stock where i'm buying from.
  7. Definitely not in the market for an upgrade lol, it's pretty much a brand new PC.?
  8. It only has a pink, green and blue 3.5 jack. No Optical though.
  9. The audio on the motherboard is good, It's a Z270-P Prime, but the sound card would only be for optional outputs, the mobo has neither optical, nor analog 5.1 support
  10. The amount of cables isn't really a problem, I've read that optical only carries 2.1 and then plays the same front stereo through the rear speakers,
  11. I've decided to buy the logitech z906 5.1 speaker set for overall use with my pc as my old 2.0 whateverbrand speakers gave out, The z906 set seems very appealing, however I know that I need a sound card (no problem here), but which one? The speakers have either 3 3.5mm jack (Fronts, Rears, Center+Sub) inputs or digital optical input. I'm looking at the Asus Xonar DGX for the 3.5mm option or Creative Soundblaster Audigy RX for optical audio. Seems like going optical would be more expensive (30$ more than the 3.5mm way) but i have no idea how both of them would compare. I plan on mainly playing games where the 3d spacial sound is kinda important (Racing, FPS games), that's why the 5.1 setup, but i also listen to music. What would be the optimal way to use this set of speakers?
  12. So it atleast connects, but it's still very slow compared to that sweex
  13. Also the stock router is connected to a LG smart tv and when the TV is off the connection is somewhat better.
  14. I have a stock isp router and and old sweex router connected by ethernet cable, the sweex is upstairs, and the other one is downstairs, the isp router has horrible internet 2m away from it while the sweex is normal 2m away, my dad wants to just surf the web on the router, but it says no internet, connected. What should i do?
