  1. Yup, can believe that. Windows and bluetooth have never worked well... Not surprised they had to fix it for 11, as bluetooth is becoming the norm for a lot of people, rather than the exception
  2. Have you tried unpairing/forgetting the device, then adding it again? I haven't used bluetooth on windows since Windows 10 20H2 but euh... it's never been very pretty tbh
  3. It's fun living in Belgium. I have plugs in my livingroom that are the french model and in my kitchen xD
  4. On "power cords are power cords". Yes. This is true. And a car is a car... Only would I prefer for one with a 5 star safety rating, than a 1 star wreck on wheels. Power cords are indeed power cords. They are cords that transmit power. But there are those that will set your carpet ablaze. Now I'm not gonna say you gotta buy $200 cables but I'd play it safe, go for one price class up (bout €3/m here for something I'd trust so more of a $1/feet in the US) from 'cheapest' that way you'll probably be saving on some fire-extinguishers in the future
  5. If you're going to test AMP's you should have at least one pair of sensitive IEM's for checking noise floor and a pair of planar headphones, since there's amp's that will easily drive your more demanding dynamics (which I assume is what the DT-880's are there for) but will struggle with planar's and vise-versa.
  6. Soooo... have you listened to it? is it good enough for ya? If so then there's your 0$ solution
  7. I have the baby sony (XB10) and am really happy with it's performance as my shower-speaker I think the Anker will give you more volume (which as a shower-speaker I don't need... No king-sized sower ) but Sony does tuning on bluetooth speakers surprisingly well... i've owned 2 JBL (older though), 2 no-name brands and now the XB10 and... it's fun. I like the tuning. Far from neutral but... just perfectly balanced for morning showers, background music playing poker with mates or camping
  8. Could you post a screenshot of the old soundpanel on the 'playback' tab? (Multiple screenshots if there's more devices than fit on screen please)
  9. But it isn't a monitor... So if you just don't send it any display signal?
  10. That is how you had drawn it out *shrug* you can connect as many as you have DP ports xD Spidf = optical. it's because I otherwise don't think you'll get your TV audio (so when not using the PC, just watching TV) won't be fed back into the AV; Example: You wanna game on the 170hz monitor with headphones. You select that display in windows display settings and the 3.5mm jack in audio settings. Boom. Done. Now you wanna play some witcher in the couch? No prob. Switch display and audio both to HDMI. Now you got a chill-ass witcher session on speakers and TV Wanna do some racing on the 170hz but with speakers? Set display to that monitor but keep audio through HDMI and tada! Watching TV? No problem. Set the AV to optical/SPIDF and there you go. Cartoons in glorious 5.1
  11. If it were my setup I'd use this? That way you simply choose on your PC what monitor you wanna use in Display settings and if you wanna go headphones or speaker in sound panel. (yes, you can select HDMI as audio output while using DP displays!)
  12. HDR is a technology that has to be supported by both the source and the display. It's not just a software thing, it's a hardware thing as well. Simply put. if the hardware doesn't support it, no amount of updates or software can change that. Looking at ASUS' site, it seems like your monitor does not support HDR: https://rog.asus.com/monitors/27-to-31-5-inches/rog-swift-pg279qe-model/spec/ You'll need to go monitor-shopping if you want that HDR mate
  13. Yeah I'm not shitting on Chi-Fi. I myself have a nice collection of BLON, KZ and Moondrop Chi-fi IEM's. I'm just saying sometimes it's gonna f**k you in the a**... And I think the little dongledac is the one that's f**ked you, not the buds
  14. Make sense make sense... Don't push it to 100 then While it is possible to lower the volume below one percent by installing some kind of EQ (APO + Peace for example) I can't reccomend it. You'll lose all your dynamic range. I would check if the same happens when you use a different PC or different headphones. That being said... This might be an unfortunate case of getting f*cked in the *ss by cheap Chinese r*p Something I'm all too familiar with.
