  1. I think I'll go with Fractal's Define R5 after watching Linus' review and HardwareCanuck's comparison with the NZXT H440. Thanks again for the input, my man.
  2. Thanks for responding! I'll look into those two cases you mentioned.
  3. Budget: $1700 Location: Virginia (USA) Aimed at: High end gaming and multitasking (for example, recording gameplay at the same time with OBS or Fraps, talking on skype, and having Chrome open with quite a few tabs) Peripherals: I already have a standard dell keyboard, logitech g400 gaming mouse, and Dell ST2310 monitor. Operating system: Will be purchasing Windows 10 on the cheap for around $30, so I left it out of the build on PCPartPicker Reason for upgrading: My current computer has aged quite a few years (running an AMD Athlon II X2 250 Processor, 6 GB RAM, Radeon 6600 Graphics) and I want to hop on the graphically intensive modern gaming scene with playable framerates with near-or-at-4K. Overclocking: Yes, I do want to overclock the CPU and GPU. Part list: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/7Mdwhq (extracted below) Intel i7-6700k CPU Gigabyte GTX 1080 G1 Gaming GPU (purchased already) MSI Gaming Z170A M3 Motherboard G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200MHz Memory Sandisk 480GB SSD Seagate 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Hybrid Drive Cooler Master Hyper 212X CPU Cooler EVGA SuperNOVA GS 650W Power Supply 3 x Corsair Air Series AF120 Quiet Edition 120mm Fans NZXT S340 (Black/Red) Case Please give me feedback on this build, namely: - Amount of fans necessary for keeping temperatures low enough for an overclocked CPU and GPU - Going along with overclocking, will the Hyper 212X Heatsink be able to keep the CPU temp low enough? - Also, approximately how far could I push the overclock in terms of GHz before stability problems arise? - Case choice (would there be compatibility problems or lack of space for fans?) - Power supply (do I have enough wattage for overclocked CPU+GPU and the other parts? Will there be enough cables to power everything?) - Motherboard (will the MSI Gaming Z170A M3 be able to fit all of my components?) - Any other questions or concerns with my build I should note that this is my first ever PC build and, although I'm pursuing a degree in Computer Science, I am largely a novice in the computer hardware realm, so I would greatly appreciate if you could take this into account when responding. Thanks a lot for reading, and let me just say I'm very excited to build my own gaming PC... with help from an experienced friend
