Recently I built a PC with has a R5 1600, B350 Tomahawk, DDR4 3000 T Force Vulcan. See I've been trying to get the mghz up from the default 2133mghz by switching the A-XMP profiles, I tried profile 2 first which seems to work but I notice that if I shut it down completely and back up my PC would try to boot but shut off immediately until its 3rd try to boot up and it would start working, I was worried so I switched it to profile 1 which runs at 2800 mghz, I've had no problems with it (its been shut down and shows no sign of what profile 2 did ) until today I left for about 12 hours with my PC shut off and when I got back I booted it back up it did what profile 2 did, boots up all fans run and then shuts down, tries to do it again shuts down, does it another time and shuts down, after like the fourth try it works and now I am here writing this. Is there a solution to this at all? I pretty sure its the RAM speed but idk it was working out fine until now.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/FBnWRG this is my recent build, imo I think this will last you a few years, you can change the cooler to an air cooler if you want and maybe pick up just 2 fans instead of 4 and use the stock fans that the case comes with. As for the RAM you should go with at least a 3000 mghz if you're going with ryzen. Trust me you will save a lot of money buying ryzen.

If you're going for rendering,editing, etc you should go with a ryzen cpu

I just built my PC and I have a 850 Evo 250 GB SSD for my OS and games and a 1TB WD HDD, now my SSD started at 232 GB which I know SSD and other storages dont start at the exact amount of storage. The only thing I've done to my SSD is boot my OS (windows 10) to my SSD any that is all and I'm already down to 200 GB, I've notice it was going down when I boot up my PC and was just wondering if there is any solution to fixing on why my ssd gb is going down without any activity. Note that I have already moved all the files like downloads,pictures,docs etc files to my hdd.

Update, I did the profile 2 and when I shut down my pc kept turn on and off eventually it went stable and I quickly went to the bios and switched to profile 1 and it seems to be fine

Okay so it happen but i just let it keep turning on and off until it was stable till eventually I got into bios, it was the XMP it was doing somthing to cause it.

If this fails some home how any my pc turns on and off what should I do

Okay actually I click on the A-XMP profile 2 and it got my Ram to 2922 mghz which about right, but I still have a problem for the rams in the slots. Its say that it is N/A in the slots I have them in, I know I put them in the right slots

I have two questions about my build 1. my Mobo and CPU are running at 32-33 Celsius is that good? 2. I got DDR4 3000 and my bios is saying it's running at 2133 mghz what's going on? Also ram says N/A in the slots they are in R5 1600 H100i b350 tomahawk (I did update it) Team Group Vulcan DDR4 3000

So I got a h100i on a s340 elite case, should I install the h100i on the Mobo before it's in the case or after

I order everything for my pc now and I've watched a lot of YouTube video to feel comfortable to build it, so when I complete the build I know you have to go onto the bios but idk what to do from there, what do I check for and everyting. Is there a video tutorial for newbies like me? I have a b350 tomahawk so if you find a setup video for that Mobo please link

So I'm trying to build a PC and I am half way done with my order where I caught that the Windows 10 I was going to buy is a OEM DVD, now this is the cheapest windows 10 I can buy so I might go with it, but one question, does the s340 elite have an DVD drive where I can install windows?

I live in San Antonio, Texas. No good computer part store at all, all hella over price. Big and growing city, not good for PC part searching. on Craigslist, trust me I searched everywhere no one sells high end PC parts
