    Powerline help

I'm looking into MoCa, do I need to have any specific wiring for the coax cables in my walls of the house. Because I know I have a coax cable near my router that is running to my cable box that I could easily hook up to the MoCa box and the room I want the Ethernet in I have another coax cable connected to another cable box that I could easily hook up to the send MoCa box. https://imgur.com/a/vnUAD4f

    Powerline help

I have a powerline ethernet for my room because the router is in the living room, I should be getting around 100+ (Google Fiber) up and down but I'm just getting 25 up and down. What should I do to the Powerline?
  5. Right now I have AT&T internet (AT&T 24, so around 24 download 1 upload mbps) which is roughly around $70, I have a choice to switch to Google Fiber for the around the same price but it gives me 1000 down and up (mbps). Now its clear as day what I should choose but is it too good to be true? * Question: Anyone that had or has had Google Fiber, is it what it suppose to be, referring to its insane up and down speed. What ISP should I choose, from anyone's past experience
  6. I reverted back to the old update and it seem to be the update cause my mic works fine now. I'm just gonna wait for them to fix everything from that update cause I heard its pretty buggy atm. Thank you for your help
  7. I just came back from vacation and was forced to update to the new windows, when I began talking my friends told me my mic sounded muffled and I don't know what to do now. I've restarted my PC and I still sound muffled. Is it because of the new Windows 10 Update? I have a Audio Tech At2020
  8. I just fixed it somehow by having the PC on, and unplugging the USB connected to the block and replugging it, and now its detecting it.
  9. I did download iCue a couple of months ago and it didn't detect anything at all so I turned to Link and though it was resolved
  10. yea I do, I unplug and replug them just today too to make sure it was plug in fully. I circled where I plug the other end of the usb
  11. https://imgur.com/a/egfgV6m Does anyone know how to fix this? H100i not getting detected at all, Corsair USBXp driver isn't showing up, I tried to troubleshoot on windows and it can't find the problem.
  12. Yes, I do actually., I have iCUE. But every time I go on it, it says that there's no device connected. Edit: So I went to Device Manager and Uninstalled the driver and Scan for hardware change to reinstall and it seemed to have fixed it. But when I restart my computer the problem comes up again. Also looked into BIOS and saw the pump RPM was at 0
  13. https://imgur.com/a/5y1s3K8 This is how my CPU is looking like, been on for a couple of hours. Is this good?
  14. So I was checking out the settings in Windows 10 and it said that I had a driver problem with one of my parts in my PC, so I troubleshoot and it said that my CPU cooler (H110i GT) is having a driver problem. Should I be worried, if so what should I do cause I've tried to do the troubleshoot but Windows couldn't fix it.

  16. Okay so I watched Linus’s video of “budget laptops for school” he made a month ago and they seem to be far out of my price range. I’m here to ask anyone if they have any decent laptops for school around maybe the $400 range

So I have the default ISP router that is given me by AT&T and it works fine and all but whenever everyone is home it pretty laggy for me for online games. I have a power line to connect to ethernet for my PC and Xbox since my router is in the other room. I was wondering if I were to buy a router like a nighthawk would I improve in speed

    Wifi Guest?

    ahh I see thank you

    Wifi Guest?

So I've been trying to fix the wifi on my dad's laptop and all I've been getting is "can't connect to this network", I've tried almost everything I could from resetting the networks, disabling/updating the adapter, restarting the router, and using another wifi adapter. Nothing has worked but then I tried to see if it would connect to a hotspot and it did, so I thought maybe if I open a Guest network through the wifis address it would connect and it actually did, so I was wondering. Question: What are the limitations of having a Guest Network (like can you still download things, go on the same websites, etc), will it affect the speed of the regular network, and also (stupid question) it doesn't charge extra for opening a guest network right? Cause last thing I want is my dad yelling at me on why the Internet bill increased.
  22. So recently I got a powerline adapter since my router is not install in my room, I got the TP-LInk Av600 and this comes with 2 ports. It works fine and all but recently I got a 2nd Ethernet cable to plug into my xbox and when I did everything stop working from the adapter, I couldn't connect to anything. Then I unplugged the 2nd cable and everything went back to normal on my PC (which is in the 1st port). Then I switched it around with my Xbox being in the 1 port only and it began to work but the second I plug in a 2nd cable everything stops working. I've attempted to relocated my adapter to another outlet but I still get the same problem. Any suggestions?

    Simple

Yea thanks for the advice, I like in a one story house so idk how the wiring would work for that. I just order the one you said was the best. Hopefully I see a positive difference
