  1. 1920x1080 is what I run, but whatever you're running is fine too. I just want a general understanding of what everyone is getting.
  2. I would RMA even if you got it to post. Something is obviously wrong with it. Better safe than sorry, right? Good luck, man.
  3. Both he and I run low settings. I'll just have to keep diggin
  4. I'm just wondering what kinda frames you guys are getting in games like Warzone. I'm getting as low as 80 in big cities and I just feel like I should be getting more. So, I just wanna know what everyone else is getting. CoD, Rainbow 6, Fortnite. Whatever you play, what are your frames?
  5. I get what you're saying, but I installed a 2060 in my brother's PC and he has a i5, he's getting more frames than me in every game we play. So, how does that make sense? Over 140 FPS is definitely what I should be getting if he's getting 120 and above in WZ. And still, people are getting much higher frame rates. Frames aren't being faked while I'm watching a stream and dude has the same GPU as me with a 3600X. Something isn't working right.
  6. I just bought a 2070 super not too long ago and I'm not getting the amount of FPS other people are getting with the same GPU. I'm only getting about 90 FPS in Warzone when I've seen people get upwards of like 170. I knew for sure my i7 7700K was a bottleneck. I had a x570 motherboard that I was intending to use once I got my hands on a AMD CPU. I finally got a 5000 series Ryzen 5 5600X and I installed both the CPU and mobo into my PC without a fresh install. I just swapped out my old mobo and CPU for the new one, powered up and started gaming. I'm just wondering if maybe that's why I'm losing frames. Could there be some old drivers or something crippling my hardware and is a fresh install of windows necessary? Is there something I could do to avoid that? Specs: Ryzen 5 5600X MSI MEG X570 ACE Motherboard EVGA 2070 Super 30GB GSkill 3000Mhz RAM 750W PSU
  7. What do you mean? Like it can't be bought? I'm sure I can find a used one somewhere out there. I just need to know if it's compatible. My 60Hz works just fine,I just prefer 144.
  8. I have an Alienware 17R4 laptop with an i7 6700 and GTX 1070. I know that they come with a 144hz monitor, mine has the 60hz. I was wondering if it was possible to swap out my 60Hz for a 144Hz. Thanks in advance. EDIT: I would be installing it myself.
  9. Okay, thanks. Just installed the same game on the SSD, and sure enough, it works. Thank you. Gonna buy a new one. Just sucks cause it's a 2TB and those seem to be a lot more expensive then that of a 1TB
  10. The second part. But I'm puzzled at the moment. I didn't hear any ticking when I launched the game. The game got as far as the main menu and it let me try to join a server and it gets stuck loading every time. I noticed something just now as well, not sure if it means anything but, 1.81GB is available and when I transferred 3GB of a game over, it still says 1.81GB is available even if I refresh the page.
  11. It only happens when I try to run a game. PUBG won't load at all and CSGO loads but doesn't load the game when I try to enter a server. But running a game on the SSD runs just fine. It's only a 5400RPM HDD but still, it should work just fine, however, I've yet to run a game on it. I'll try the large file transfer.
  12. Any idea as to why I can't run a game on it, but I can run the same game on the SSD? I have CrystalDiskInfo and it says the harddrive is fine. The clicking is just a little louder than I'm used to hearing.
  13. My laptop is having trouble running games on the HDD but does fine on the SSD. I only hear a clicking when I run a game on it. I've tested the HDD through command prompt and through the properties tools tab and they both say the HDD is fine. Is there any other software out there that I can use to check for bad sectors or anything else? It's a 2Tb HHD and it would be nice if I could keep it. Thanks in advance.
  14. Hello, I just bought a Nvidia shield tablet on Amazon for $214. Could I have gotten more bang for my buck with something else? Specifically for gaming. I'm not really too knowledgeable on tablets, and I was looking for something cheap and portable to play PC games through a streaming service while having a powerful enough tablet to run decent games natively. I'm just looking for suggestions. Hell, maybe even a windows tablet you guys can suggest.
