  1. My Windforce 980Ti has been stuttering but I never got around to looking for a fix, I play pretty light games like PUBG, League Of Legends and some other sorts of old games, looking up benchmarks of this combination always bring maybe double or triple the FPS I get, for example league hovers around 120fps during non-intensive moments and drops to low 40s-50s when a team fight is going on, PUBG seems to stay at fairly low fps but playable 60-70fps, nowhere near what other people are playing. League game settings are set to low PUBG settings are a mix of Low - Medium settings I have tried DDUing and cleaning up the PC, even reinstalling games, nothings worked so far, no temp issues at all, at least on HWInfo the GPU temps stay fairly cool, no idea if anything else is overheating in there or how to check it
  2. I've had FH4 for years now with this issue I never got around to actually fixing it so here's how it usually goes I launch the game normally and go in solo, if I try to join horizon life it finds a session but never joins and spits out the same error every time "Failed to open a connection. Check if your network allows IPSEC connections, and try again." Teredo works normally, I had a friend help me out to see if it was a server issue, I joined his convoy but couldn't join his session this is how it usually goes, I've been troubleshooting for 2 hours now and nothing seems to work. Any ideas appreciated This is a screenshot of the error it spits out every time -> https://gyazo.com/e0d3a51dcba5497fdc3cd92c92229830
  3. I KNEW I WASN'T TRIPPING, I just fixed it with the simplest solution, I removed the faulty monitors power cable for about 5 minutes and plugged it back in, activated the monitor from Nvidia Control Panel and worked like a charm. I feel disappointed in myself troubleshooting this long for THIS to be the issue.
  4. I don't think so since this stock BIOS was the one I reverted back to when it all went wrong, if you could double check since I might be tripping would love it https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N98TWF3-6GD#ov This is my GPU
  5. So a little backstory to this. I tried flashing back to my GPU stock BIOS since I had a couple games crash on me, the games might of crashed but my monitors worked fine. After flashing the stock BIOS only my side portrait monitor worked, the thing is, when I booted into safe mode to try a DDU, then the middle one worked with low res since it was in safe mode. I tried a DDU and booted back into windows to reinstall the Nvidia driver, before the driver had finished installing my middle monitor was the only one that worked, after installing the driver both my middle and left monitor were showing "DisplayPort - NO SIGNAL" while my right portrait one was working. Little note of the things I've tried... - Reverted back to the BIOS that caused crashes - DDU - Tried running with iGPU (Which I connected my middle monitor to it and it worked fine, so did my portrait one, but the left one was still showing no signal) I'm at a standstill maybe someone else knows something I surely don't and haven't tried. Thanks a lot for reading Note: The GPU has dual BIOS which one of them I have never touched due to issues like this, it seems both BIOSs do the same thing Another note I just noticed: It does show the other 2 monitors in windows display settings, it just shows "Disconnect this display" and whenever I try to hit extend nothing happens I just get the no signal again Another one: I managed to get the middle one working through Nvidia Control Panel, but the third one whenever I click to activate it the PC freezes.
  6. My old MBP from 2012 had 16Gigs and an 860 EVO before it brokedown, I'll probably go with the intel one
  7. I'm stuck choosing between 2 Macbook Pros, I'm a university student and will mostly be doing designing, photoshop, a bit of video editing here and there and live music. Am I going to notice a difference between these two? They are priced almost the same.
  8. Never OC'd anything except memory, any good guides for GPU OC? Also for CPU I was thinking of going for a 3700X, good idea or not? And motherboards I was thinking X570 since I'm gonna OC whatever I get
  9. I've had this build for about 3 years now and I've been wanting to upgrade it, here's the PCPP list of what I run now. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/PWYDDc I need some ideas on what parts I should focus on upgrading. No budget set, will still use the system for Gaming, Editing and Programming
  10. Hi there, a bit late for an update, DDUing it worked.
  11. Ultimate Performance, it was always like this, I don't even know when this started, I noticed it a while back and did a whole PC clean a couple days ago and it still happens
  12. No high refresh rate monitors, high performance, I swapped to optimal and nothing changed.
  13. How do I fix this? My fans don't turn off and the card is idling
  14. My speakers are making this buzzing sound whenever I use my computer as a source of audio, I tried anything google showed me to fix this and nothing worked. (Note: The buzzing sound doesn't stop if I put the computer volume at 0%)
  15. Out of 16 gigs 3.1 gigs are reserved, I have my iGPU memory to 128mb in BIOS and still it's so high, any ideas?
  16. It looks pretty good now, I set my fan curve back to normal so it stays off while under 60C and ramp up when gaming, thank you so much! I've learned how to flash a GPU BIOS!
  17. My guy you're a life saver, my fans are OFF! Finally! I can save some dust from clogging my cooler, thank you so much for spending your time helping a stranger! I flashed the BIOS everything went well and I hope everything will still go well, if I have any issues I'll send over a DM to ask for help, thank you so much!
