  1. Might be a bit late but I wanted to add this: Really depends. Are the terminals from that channel connected in series or in paralell? Series makes no sense since then if you'd connect only one speaker, it wouldn't work so it must be in paralell. If the speaker are in parallel, the total impedance of two 6 ohm speaker will be 3 ohm. You could look up Ohm's Law but I won't bother you with it here. Thats why you need at least 8ohm speakers if you connect two of them to one channel, since in the end it will be a 4ohm load for the amp. And 4ohm is the minimum that the amp is rated for.
  2. With my UX31E there was only a "void warranty" sticker on the screw of the hard drive. Not sure how its with your model.
  3. Well if the manual says that you need 8-16ohm speakers if you connect 4 of them, then connecting four 6ohm speakers isn't really something that is supported.
  4. Do you have more then one monitor connected or a TV that is currently off? If yes turn every monitor on.
  5. Don't use adaptive mode then. Or lower it by the amout you are over your target.
  6. On idle it should always get back to low voltage if you set a max multipier for the boost and the CPU goes back to its idle state. At least thats now it always worked for me.
  7. You could try a complete reinstallation of Windows. Thats probably a good thing to do with new notebooks anyways. If a new Windows still has all these problems, just RMA the notebook, because then there should be something pretty wrong with it. Get GPU drivers from Nvidia and Intel respectively (you need to install both, if you have this dual GPU switching stuff) All other drives you could get from MSI or look at the manufracturer of the chip if they have a newer version. Optionally you could look for a new BIOS version. There is also a Firmware tab, never have seen it might help? All MSI downloads are right here: https://www.msi.com/Laptop/support/GE62VR-6RF-Apache-Pro.html#down-bios NVIDIA driver: http://www.nvidia.com/download/scan.aspx?lang=en-us Intel GPU driver: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers.html
  8. Well if the drives perform similar on different devices, I don't see a problem with your system. I'd say that either your one harddrive is slowly dieing or just can't keep up with the speed of your other drive. You could check the S.M.A.R.T values of your drives with CrystalDiskInfo. Also you could try to connect the slow drive via sata (take it out of the case) and see if it gets higher transfer rates. (that would make the one USB 3.0 case the culprit)
  9. Does the affected drive hit higher transfer speeds on other computers or is this only affecting your setup?

    PCI

Still, if its a low profile PCIe card, there are adapter for that:

If its a low profile PCI card, there are adapters for it: (if its full height PCI, you are out off luck)
  12. Pull will always be the best thing for easy dust cleaning since on push the dust would collect between fan and radiator. But since there is a big air filter in the front, just mount the fans where they originally belong and mount the radiator on the other side. Thats at least how I'd do it, just try it and look what works / looks best. Shouldn't affect performace anyways. So that I can see you repied, you can either @Thx And Bye or quote me. Otherwiese I won't be notified.
  13. The "easiest" thing to get this GPU back to life (and the GPU itself is not broken) would be so salvage a card (1060 with same amount of VRAM) with just a broken GPU and go to a professional store to solder the working gpu to the working card. Other then that, I don't see much hope for that GPU to work again.
  14. Well thats what I did to my radiator, to use my way to tall RAM + way too big radiator in the top (I have only minimal clearance to the glass panel too): But since I'm only using 120mm fans and the NZXT Kraken X62 has 140mm fans, I'd say you can either fit it in the ffront, or look for a 120mm wide radiator / AiO. And on PCPartpicker it might not've shown incompatibility, since you can always fit the radiator in the front.
  15. I have CrystalDiskInfo running in the background all the time. Works really nice and even supports Intel RAID drives so you can read the S.M.A.R.T values even vom drives in RAID. Also you can configure all kinds of alarms but your SSD will probably outlast your HDD anyways. (reference) (But it will also tell you, if you get problems with your HDD) A backup on an external drive would be (imo) the best option, to backup your SSD and HDD on one external 3TB (ish) drive.
  16. Whats inside the batch file? You can open it with the Editor. Otherwise just delete it. If you can't, copy all files you need and format the stick.
  17. If you have a rather cheap model I'd suggest you to replace it. If you have a good model I'd only consider it if there is clear evidence that it has a problem. If you decide to buy a new one look for SeaSonic oder SuperFlower PSUs. And you don't really need more then 550W. Probably a 450W one would fit your system very nice, but depeds on the model you want to buy, not every series has every wattage but 550W is pretty common. Also consider the PSU Tier lists here in the forum or on the pcmasterrace reddit as a good source for a psu. If you really want to be sure about a new psu, this site is the holy grail of PSU reviews: http://www.jonnyguru.com/
  18. I have a PCIe Intel NIC and during the driver installation I also got this error. It has no influence on the normal operation of this card at all. Only like it states, you can't create ANS Teams and Virtual LANS. Just press no that you don't want to install that feature. First try to reinstall the driver and sencondly try older versions. You can also check with like a live Liux if your hardware is working and it really just is a driver issue. If it doesn't work at all and your hardware keeps dieing in your system i'd take a look at the PSU if it is on some kind of a quest to destroy all of your hardware.
  19. Check if your TV has a slot for CI+ modules. If yes contact your tv provider if they can provide you such a module. But since you have a rather new TV, I'm 95% sure that you have such a slot. They should look like this: And the slot on the TV like this:
  20. Check BIOS that they are not disabled. If not boot a live Linux USB or DVD and check if your ports are working there. If they also don't work in Linux I'd say that the hardware is actually broken.
  21. Don't your tv have a build in reciever? Via Scart or AV its no wonder that its crap becasue it is 480i or 576i resolution and analogue.
  22. Maybe give https://wkeydisabler.codeplex.com a try, as long as it runs in the tray, the Windows key is disabled. Works also with Windows 10.
  23. If you close chrome, does the RAM usage goes down or is it unrelated to the browser? Also if you create a new Windows useraccount and open the programs you use, do you also have this problem?
  24. Either you smoke like a lot in the same room and that causes problems with one of your components (the smoke isn't very good for your hardware over time) or one of your component died its natural death. Either of both I'd run memtest86 and check if your RAM has problems, if you have problems there try with only one stick of RAM. My second guess of hardware that could cause the problem would be the power supply. If you can try with a known good one.
