  1. Hey I was wondering if anyone could provide some input, I'm planning my first build and was initially going to go with a Asus VG248QE (~250) but I noticed this shell shocker deal for 400 bucks http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=0JC-000P-00083&SortField=0&SummaryType=0&PageSize=10&SelectedRating=-1&VideoOnlyMark=False&IsFeedbackTab=true#scrollFullInfo XF27OHU - IPS, 1440p, 144 Hz, 4 ms, Freesync for around 400 dollars on Newegg (Amazon shows 580~), So the question is if this monitor appropriate for gaming and workstation use, is this worth the deal and upgrade from the 24 inch TN 1080p to 27 inch IPS 1440p for 150~ but compromise on 4ms time. Any advice would be appreciated!
  2. First post! I'm new to the forums and pc gaming, I have a pretty old desktop with a mid range card at that time. For peripherals I have: Mouse: Cyberpower 4000 dpi standard Keyboard: Cyberpower stock keyboard Peripherals: an old 20 inch 1080p 60 Hz TN monitor, (hoping to upgrade in the future, can't decide if 144 hz or IPS) Speakers: Logitech Z323 (generic old ones I have) Headset: None, I use my Sennheiser CX200 headphones sometimes for audio I still have a lot to learn and I've just been watching youtube videos to learn. I plan on building my next set up on my own (maybe 1070).
