  1. Thanks for the suggestions. I unfortunately won't be able to test your suggestions right now since I have assignments due. I'll let you know if I make any progress.
  2. I have been trying to figure out how to fix this issue for the past two hours and I cannot find any helpful threads anywhere. I'm trying to install my two 4GB Kingston HyperX Savage DDR3 1600MHz chips but my PC just does not want to run with them. My old RAM chip runs at 1333MHz. My computer runs in three second intervals, turning itself on and off. Reverting back to the old memory works perfectly. There shouldn't be any comparability issues but just for clarification, here are my specs. Motherboard: ASUS H97 Pro-Gamer CPU: Intel Core i5 4590 RAM: 4GB Transcend DDR3 1333MHz which I'm upgrading to my two 4GB Kingston HyperX Savage DDR3 1600MHz, making a total of 8GB. Graphics card: ASUS GTX 960 I have made sure that I haven't made any trivial mistakes i.e. not having the chips seated correctly, cleared the DIMMs of dust, placed the chips in the correct slots (1st and 3rd/2nd and 4th), but nothing seems to work. I assume the problem lies in the BIOS where it is currently set to run with my old RAM with the frequency at 1333MHz. I cannot enable XMP either while the old RAM chip is inserted. I have already reset the CMOS and then re-inserted the new RAM chips. The computer continues to turn on and off at three second intervals. I cannot access the BIOS while the two new RAM chips are installed. Am I making some other mistake or forgetting to do something? Do I need to make changes in the AI Tweaker prior to inserting the new RAM or does the system automatically create settings which I can then change later? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
