BSOD's, BSOD's, power trips, and BSOD's
Pro.ƒessor² replied to Pro.ƒessor²'s topic in Troubleshooting
@belfouf I'm back to frustration, many more crashes and programs suddenly dropping. There was a time where my north bridge controller or something of the like was reading insane heat loads and I wonder if it may be that? -

I'm using Win10, and everything has been fine and I haven't had any crashes so far. I think these problems may be caused by bad drivers, and the PSU because of ASUS's shoddy onboard OVP. I'll get back to you if anything more screws up @belfouf. Let me know if there's any way I can repay you for your time and attention though! @belfouf -

@belfouf I couldn't find the troubleshooting tab with disabling hardware acceleration. I've also been getting more power trips and I've solved it so far by taking the 24pin out and putting it back in to my PSU. The board was also not recognizing my graphics card and I had to move it to a different slot to get it to function. Might all these problems be caused by the board? -

@belfouf my computer has been BSOD'ing over and over again now, with MEMORY_MANAGEMENT, PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA, KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED errors. The system will crash, boot, and go straight to mem management bsod or some other. Would it be wise to wipe my C drive and reinstall windows or something of the like? This system has been working fine for the past few years until now, so another install seems like a quick easy fix... -

@belfouf to properly boot I had to default to the old settings, is it imperative that I have them to your specification for the CPU-Z info? Here's a screenshot of CPU-Z with my old settings, I'll fetch one with your specified RAM settings SoonTM Old Timing: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1RDKWDtQtQ3TlI4WFFtbnlTazg -

@belfouf - malwarebytes and WinDef scanned fully can came up clean, although WinDef randomly turns off and says spyware definitions are out of date and whatever game I'm in crashes. The .dmp's are linked if you personally want to pilfer through them The short list (not in any order or time) of crashes come from: ntoskrnl.exe (I'm assuming this is just the basic Widows function) iorate.sys hal.dll win32kbase.sys NTFS.sys WppRecorder.sys These are not in order and not all happened at the same time.
