Haha this happened to me and I used a broken pencil to bend the pin back, I was so scared at the time.

Noctua released redux and industrialPPC lines of fans
DiceCustoms replied to Ssoele's topic in Tech News
If the industrial fans scale through PWM linear they should be better than the original NF-F12s at a lower rpm, and if that's the case i'm sold -
I love the comprehensive usability and the amazing aluminium ID.

Ah I see, lucky you .

Out of curiosity why do you have M50s if you have 1540s also? Did you get the M50s first then decide to mod them?
-
Yeah haha it's even more hard to find cause I live in New Zealand.
-
Where did you get them from? I'm struggling to find some.
-
Scratch that, i'm about 1.8m.
-
I'm a 2m New Zealander, who am I to judge? They just sort of look maroon-y.
-
Wow thanks man, will post pics as I go. How comfortable are they, are they more comfortable than the default leather? They don't look that aesthetically great but comfort > aesthetic I suppose.
-
Wow thanks man I've been looking for something like that for a while cheers, now for the pads I might have to find someone local who would custom make them.
-
What are your reasons behind this? True, what I would like to know is how to them up to access the internals.
-
I've been looking but I can only find replacement defaults(leather) and velvet, and anything's possible which is what modding is about . This might be the easiest way but I would like to make it embedded if possible. If you have ever seen the straight cable version of the M50s (I have no experience with the coiled) it's ridiculously long, making the cable removable/interchangeable would make them way more portable and make them less of a desk accessory.
