  1. yeah my 850 evo is going strong 8 years now, but the 870 evo is the cheapest right now so I shall get that Also I back up my data so incase it goes bad I should be fine
  2. Probably going to get it from Micro center, so far the 1 TB 870 evo for $60 doesn't seem too bad
  3. Yep figured this might have been the cause of the higher price, but I shall give the 870 a shot Thanks !
  4. just space limited, only have one sata port open, and my hard drive is old so figured an ssd would be alright. I have two m.2 slots are filled with 970s
  5. Fair enough, Just wondering. Its seems to be quite popular as well so maybe that's why some bad reviews are more apparent than other products. Thanks though. 60 bucks for 1tb is still wild remembering how expensive it used to be
  6. For 1tb EV0 in US $ from Amazon / Micro center near me 850 - 122 / NA 860 - 119 / NA 870 - 60 / 60 870 QVO - 70 / 90
  7. So its been a hot minute since I got an sata SSD, the last one was an 850 Evo in 2014/5 when 250 gb was alot I still have that SSD but I want a 1tb to replace the hard drive that is approaching 5+ years, maybe its because since then reviews are more popular but I notice a decent amount of negative reviews against the 870. Currently from Amazon the price of the 870 is much better than the 850 or 860 so I unsure if there is any underlying issues here Never had trouble with a Samsung SSD, 850 in my laptop passed onto my parents still going strong, on my main pc a 970 evo 250gb and 970 evo plus 500 gb and no troubles yet Its also suspicious that the EVO is cheaper than QVO as well, so It makes me wonder So is the 870 Evo okay?
  8. I Just bought it and it looks fairly better ! Thanks for the tip Saved media and Streaming is more clear and crisp !
  9. Sometimes when I google questions I find posts I made asking that exact question on this forum to re-find the answers
  10. I need help from the Cycling members, I have been trying to get a new bike for a while. Been riding for 10+ years only roads finally settled from traveling so looking for a steady nice but affordable road bike. My current choice is a Triban Rc120 for about 560 (on sale) Alot of people recommend used but I have no idea what to look for, in terms of Models, and I have never bought used so unsure of red flags in buyers and products. If you could help me with some tips that would be great. My current budget is about US $600, living in NYC (incase there are local used deals) I have tried looking up Trek, specialized, Giant and Triban (with good shimano shifter) and have had a hard time with the models, especially with trek its usually older models I have no idea about so I wouldnt know if its a good deal. This is one example of a deal I found that I think might be good but only because its a model I recongnize Specialized Allez in NJ
  11. I think its just cheaper to make one type of car seat rather than two (one with heated seats and one withput), Louis Rossmann explained a bit better though, its more of consumer ideality, the idea of selling a product and including a physical feature which is locked but still in your possession is strange. Its almost as if you bought a house and didnt pay extra for AC, and when you arrive there is an AC system installed but with a Lock on it. Especially given the fact the car is so expensive, this subscription should never have been a thing, especially with the heated steering wheel subscription as well The worry of the consumer is the erosion of ownership, so the path this might lead to is having more things you don't own in a car you bought
  12. My First Audio set up, Audio sounds great. The base and lower mids is slightly too loud for me, so I might get an Equalizer for the stack, but not too bad I just prefer a more crunchy sound for music. For content like movies with Dramatic scores they are perfect though. All together I would say a great budget build, also A DAC was not that necessary my PC DAC was about as good but I am still glad I got it
  13. To create proper HDR you need a Colourist, Someone very skilled to make HDR content. Otherwise the HDR would be somewhat lackluster. So to include HDR for somewhat lackluster results especially considering the file sizes is not too worth it. Also Youtubes implementation is also not that great as well. But I can see HDR being a nice feature but unless the work flow for HDR improves and the skill level gets a bit more manageable, I don't see them striving for it. I believe he did speak about HDR on a recent Wan show but I cant remember which one
  14. I have seen comments that perfectly replicate the logo and name with a verified checkmark and write it in a much better format, so it seems less obviously a scam. And those really trick people, I think though thats harder to do or more likely to be against the rules, because I dont see it too often
  15. I never understand how they can't fix this, or at least try to. Linus i know has talked about it along with a lot of creators. It sucks seeing people get scammed by it, I really hope they are working on it at least
  16. I apologize, I figured an appliance might be tech. Wont happen again Do you know what brand/model you have, It would really help to know if I am going with one that seems to last Okay Great! I will try to keep those in mind
  17. Do you recall if its the one below, I was hoping to get this one. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Z5PY294/?coliid=I7UTW9J4FG1EZ&colid=RAUL5Y5FDMU7&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it Also you recommend 'care' I have been looking into this but not too sure what that means I have heard letting it 'settle' before turning on it, not having it on continuously or having it turn on and off too often. Thats about all I have seen, If you have any advice that would be great. Also thanks for the explanation. I never opened one so I figured it was due to lack of parts and too much variety but I understand better why all the places I called didn't offer any services for these appliances
  18. Thank you for the recommendation. this and the following Frigidaire are the usual top recommendations I see online https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Z5PY294/?coliid=I7UTW9J4FG1EZ&colid=RAUL5Y5FDMU7&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it Did you have any issues having the appliance delivered? I never ordered anything like this online so I am a bit concerned
  19. I am trying to buy a Dehumidifier, just for when humidity raises in apartment. It is not well ventilated just two small windows. I have heard they break down quickly similar to a Portable AC and is usually not worth it but I am quite unsure. I know I would really benefit from one but the ability to never repair it as I have seen with a portable AC turns me off. I havent even replaced a portable AC I own that is broken because this resistance to repair from local shops. ( I own it because the windows are too small for a window mounted AC) So any thoughts, recommendations?
  20. I constantly have 5g where I live and did not notice much difference from 4g.
  21. I got 5G last year and ever since, its very easy to use up alot of data but I hardly use much regularly. I mostly use my data for google maps or replying to messages. I don't think there is much battery drain, I live in a major city so I have 5G most of the time and It doesn't drain alot but then again I dont use a lot of data so Maybe that would explain it.
  22. I think it depends though, for sure you could spend a lot to get the highest megapixels and burst speed but you still need to take good images. I am currently upgrading from my 9 year old camera but it still takes images that is good enough for most socials and small prints and Its still nice to capture good images as such why it lasted me so long. Leica however takes advantage of the fact they are fun to take images with, not the best but decent specs and cost a lot. They are worth that to photographers who enjoy working with them, because they get more out of them than a workhorse camera that is more value for dollar I admit I get caught up in the specs as well, as such its been tough finding a good upgrade.
  23. My mom get something stuck in her phones audio port, I think it was a grain of rice, So I just needed to take off the back to push out it through a space in the connector mounted on the board with a pin. when putting the phone back together there seemed to be a screw missing and when putting in the last screw I had trouble reaching any threads. Turns out the phone was a strange version that has an empty screw hole, not threads nothing so when trying to put it in I was making small aluminium shards go into the main board... The phone never turned on again It was such a simple thing turned so wrong
  24. Its mounted by screws as seen here for that specific case, and this is how the manual shows it should be installed with just 3 screws on standoffs. Unsure if its the only place it can be, but I would suggest following the guide and putting it here
  25. Definitely for all the Fans to connect to the motherboard, it comes with the case. Part 'H' above snipped from the case quick start guide
