  1. Horrible pricing and improvements. Well except the 2080Ti that card is going to be the king and extremely fast but that price! I don't even want to know the price of the next gen cards. $1000 for mid range cards next year?
  2. So this flaw has been going on for years and years and no one at Intel knew about this until now??
  3. That's way too high for a H110i. Casual use you should be under 40's and gaming load temps you should be under 60's
  4. Return that sucker and get one without coil whine. You cannot just ignore it especially if it's really loud those are the worse of batch. It's like constant tinnitus but even worse!
  5. If you are getting Zotac the only one to get is the higher end model with 3 fans Extreme Edition not the one with 2 fans. The one with 2 fans temps reported to get to high as 80C unless that is not a problem for you.
  6. Yeah if the coil whine is loud enough to be heard outside of a case I wouldn't keep or deal with that non sense. I would probably go with the ASUS strix and stay away from EVGA cause the one you get back from RMA will most likely have the same issue.
  7. This has been happening for a awhile and it's suppose to act that way with multi/144hz monitors plugged in. What I do plug my 2nd monitor into the igpu so my main 144hz idles correctly plugged into the Nvidia card.
  8. That GTX 1080 you got has so much potential you need to upgrade to 6700K ASAP!!
  9. 4K? Just wait for the 1080Ti. And 4K with 480 no no way!
  10. In game overclocking does not matter at all especially with the way gpu 3.0 boost works with the 1080. Most aftermarket 1080's have great power delivery so you will be holding a high boost clock either way. Overclock only matters to those who want high Firestrike benchmark numbers.
  11. This is very true. I've tried both cards with a 144hz 1080p the GTX 1060 (MSI gaming X) provided much smoother gaming experience. Very consistent frames throughout min, avg, and high. I noticed with the RX 480 especially on BF4 and overwatch, the frames were very sporadic and inconsistent especially the min frames and those with a 144hz knows that provides a not a smooth experience especially with min frames dropping so low at points of the game. Most notable during intense action the frames are just not very consistent to my liking. Of course with 60hz monitors things like higher consistent frames don't really matter.
  12. MSI 1060 Gaming X, best quality for the aftermarket 1060. You cannot even hear the fans on gaming load
