there is no good place to put a network switch between the two buildings i'm trying to connect. I guess the best way to go is fiber. you guys have any shopping list options i can use? By the way, my network already uses Cat6 Weatherproof cables been thinking about upgrading part of the network to a 10G when i have the money to put in a NAS or some other server [not anytime soon].

hey guys! I have a huge problem. I'm trying to install a wired connection to another building Via Ethernet but the building is too far [past the 100 meters mark], so I need help with finding a solution to this. I don't want to compromise my network speed [it being a gigabit network] to the other building. I don't wan't to go wireless because it will reduce the network speed from device to device as well as there being multiple metal buildings in the way. the wire will have to be above ground hanging in the air from pole to pole we might be able to run a PVC underground most of the way though some of the wiring might be exposed . if you guys have any ideas let me know!

Do you have any accessories or preferred lenses or lens filters for the t7i? Seeing that camera will run me about $900 I still got $600 left in my budget.

Hey guys you probably got the idea thanks to the ridiculously long title of this forum post. I am looking into going into photography and still would like a decent camera that can put out 1080p60 when I need to record, not to mention the ability to use my Elgato camlink whenever I stream. And have some decent accessories like additional lenses and or a decent tripod. I shop on three sites Best Buy, Newegg, and Amazon. I'd prefer shopping through those retailers as much as possible. My budget runs around $1,500 U.S. but just going a couple dollars over the amount isn't going to bother me. I'm currently using skillshare to learn about photography as I'd like to have something to do as a hobby. And PS; times I plan to shoot are early mornings when the Sun is beginning to rise which is a low-light situation and midday. Thankyou!

Shoot I have all 2 nights out of the week to work on this stuff. ;) I work Night-shift at a Grocery outlet so it leaves me with Sunday and Monday nights Doing nothing but sitting in front of my PC until 12:00PM PST. By then I'm asleep until 8:00pm.

Hi there! this is an awkward post but i thought this would be the best place to go. I'd like to build an intro(s) for my YouTube channel but i wanted to start with an Animated HDD and have an effect form the logo or Words i want it to display. The only problem is... I'm new to adobe software and can't get far with it... I've tried looking for online templates but i couldn't find any. then i realized LMG uses HHDs and or "so i thought" animations of HHDs. If i could find out how they animate one or where they got the picture files from it will help me out a lot. This message is aimed towards the Editors of LMG but everyone's help is appreciated. The tool part has been already solved with a tagging system. we have chips with numbers on them and 15 chips per person. all our tools are placed in cutouts in drawers so if something is missing we know who has it. it is a quick and efficient way of keeping track of tools. But the Parts are what really need to be inventoried, we have several shelves of parts (Mostly filters and Part cleaners) and we need to know what we have and what we have lost. this is also due to thieves breaking in and stealing Fuel, parts etc. and we need a way to find out what exactly they are stealing. we already have cameras in place, but I'm currently looking into finding a way to track traffic coming in and out of the property and check irregular activities so we know when we should be out there with a Weapon aimed at there face and the police on speed dial. by the way our origin is Southern Oregon, United States... sorry I myself and my family are not Canadian. Earlier today I've been looking at my not so old retired AMD guts of a rig that has been sitting in my closet for over 4 months now. So I began thinking of finding a use for it, so far nothing... So i told him i will see what i can do. My father is a mobile mechanic who caters to the trucking and Heavy equipment but at times he works on regular vehicles. what he needs is a way to track all of his inventory which can then be stored on a local system including a way to store important documentation . I was looking at the price to Performance ratio. If you're more worried about price per gigabyte, then an M.2 Drive might not be for you.

As of January 13th of 2017 Corsair launched its new line of M.2 cards to the public. I didn't really know what was going on until I saw newegg listing it as an new product. I was on the market for an M.2 and then I realised how much cheaper and more cost effective this card could be against Samsung's 950 Pro. So I did some digging and low and behold! Thanks. I figured out how to set my router up to be static. but i'm seeing these. and it has been around ever since I have Setup this router. I also do not wish to flash my router as it will void its warranty And i won't be able to get it fixed or replaced with a newer router. The wireless router currently uses a private WAN IP address. This router may be in the multiple-NAT environment and DDNS service cannot work in this environment.

So the Reason I'm having trouble understanding because We "Must" have an router Hooked to the Router/Modem so we can connect other lan devices. also the Router/modem can only support two Ethernet port connections. I have tried using a Switch but that failed miserably... so we have to rely on routers to do the Communication to the internet. Each router is Firewalled so neither can see what's communicating except for the ports for the security cameras which is protected by a Password based encryption. Now how he managed to get the cameras to port forward without a problem, i have no clue about that bit of information. but i know I can't port forward due to that my router is on a private dynamic IP. i want to fix that. like I said: "This is a business grade Connection (All ports are open by default at the Modem/Router unit)". meaning if I can switch my Asus router from dynamic to static I can possibly port forward.
