gapy10 reacted to Salacious B Crum in unRAID with different capacity drives
unRAID does not care about drive size or speed with the exception that the parity drive must be as large or larger than any data drive unraid is not a conventional raid but a parity protected array but to answer the drive question yes you can have different sized drives in the array and it will work fine, a plus to this that you only lose the capacity for data from 1 drive that being the parity drive all other drive space is available unlike conventional raid that can consume up to half of your storage capacity. There are plenty of configurations in unRAID other than I posted here check out there forum it has excellent support check my signature below for my current NAS setup

gapy10 got a reaction from Yoshcko in TESTING Our Oil-Cooled Components - Do they still work!?
Yes Luke also killed his gpu when he took it from his mineral oil cooled pc. Apparently all the thermal paste was eaten away by mineral oil. He explained it hire: https://youtu.be/Cqj-p2ywA84?t=2m20s
