Hello I need some advice/help with a problem i am having with my pc. my pc turns on goes to windows but after a few mins freezes . but odd thing is num,scroll,caps locks working. the same also happened in safe. or in any game or in just desktop idle. it also happened in bios once . i have reinstalled the gpu and rams to no effect. tried all ram slots. i like to point out the few thing that has happend before this started happening . after the pc started freezing i found out my cpu fan broke so changed it after i changed this still happened, after that i found a strange thing normally my rams were on the a2b2 slots which are recommended by the board msi b450 pro carbon but in bios it was showing on 8 gb not but in desk top it was showing 16 on cpuz so i placed the rams in the other two slots now bios also shows 16gb but the main problem is there it freezes after few mins. num,scroll,capslock working. Thank you in advance for advice on help with this problem really appreciate . my specs are. cpu- amd r52600 gpu- gigabyte winforce 1060 3gb mobo - msi b450 gaming pro carbon ram - corsair vengence lpx 8*2 3000 mhz ssd - 1 year old / fairly new gigabyte 1 tb m.2 psu - cm mwe v2 bronze 550 cpu fan - was cm h410r now amd standard cooler ps . this all started around 2 days ago. what can i say in every sofware it shows 8 c / 16 t not like i am trying to lie

if you check cinebench and cpuz screen shot it is i dont know what to say i am lucky i guess

Hello I bought a r 5 1600 and it turned out to be 8c/16t which is lucky so i bought a b450 tomahawk max to oc it as far as i could so ran some settings from videos i found but couldnt understand much of it but as little as I could get of the information I set vcore llc to mode 3 and soc llc to mode 3 and set 1.36 vcore and cpu at 3.9ghz as you can see in the screen shot it worked like a charm but when it tried it at 4.0 ghz it compleated cinebench once as you can see after crashing 3 times but i cant seem to get it stable with even 1.39 vcore since I dont know much about voltage i would like some advice if it is even possible to get it to 4.0 without too much hasel or sould i just stick with the setting it got . Any advice would be appriciated . Thank you

Hello i have been using a fx series processor. but now I want to upgrade to a 3600. but i cant decide which board to buy as I have a set budget I cant go for a x570. So b450 has to be it. The boards that are in my range are the B450 Auros pro( i dont need the wifi), b450 Strix F gaming the MSI carbon pro is too expensive in my country that these too and the tomahawk does not have the alc 1220 audio and intel lan chip. I mainly game so want a good looking board with some good features and these seem the have it. but I have seen on some videos and forums that the strix and auros are not good. I would like to do some mild over clocking. Any suggestions and help will be appreciated . Thank you

no visibly i dont see any bent pins the board was working fine a minute ago but as soon as i turned off to re orient the case fan it didnt start . I didnt even touch any of the other things in case jut the fan and fan connector

Hello I have a 3770k and asus maximus v gene board .after i had formated the pc i oced to 4.3 on all cores. but I have previously mounted a fan in the case in the wrong orientation so I powered down to turn the fan around after doing that when i pressed the power switch on the case it didnt start just the mother board lights were on but the case fans or the cpu fan didnt start up. so I tried with removing the case power connectors and jumping the pins on the board same result. no power. so I took every thing out of the case . and removed the cpu from the board and tested it out on an intel dh77 board . I used the same psu , same cpu and 1 stick of ram and jumed it with screwdriver it boots. So please can some one help to explain what happed and how can I fix it.also I have tried removing the cmos batery and trying the reset the cmos with the switch on the back of the board Thanking you

Hello I would like some advice , I have been meaning to do build a PC with r5 2600, auros pro b450 based system. but I recently saw a post in in a website of some one selling a 6700k with asus maximus viii . giving the rest will cost me the same I would probably save around 150$ on the total build if i go for the i7 and asus board. but the question is it a good buy for 2019 when all games are moving to more cores and the longevity of the PC will matter in any way . I do some some editing with my current PC which is a i7 3770k, but mostly game. due to requirement i am having to buy a new PC. Also I live in India and at the moment r7 1700 is the same price as a r5 2600 so i would like some advice on that as well, which one to go for. Thank You

no but i assume the oc is not being taken cuz the cinebench score drops to about 480 or so when i set it to 4.0 ghz . when i sock its goes to 714. i dont understand why that is.

Hello I have have a i7 3770k with asus maximus v gene and 32 gigs of ram with hyper 410r . I have never actually overclocked the cpu i just let it ran as it is but now I wanted to overclock but when i increase the multiplier in bios to all cores 3.7/3.8/3.9/4 and go into the system my cine bench score goes down to around 500 i cant understand it . would like some insight as to why is this happening . screen shoots of cpuz , gpu z and cinebench normal score without overclock is given. I would be very glad if someone can point out what I am doing wrong . P.S I have never overclocked any system but I thought I would try can I still want to use my i73770 for a few more years before upgrading. Any help would be appreciated Thank you

my bios dosent have that setting the monitor has dvi i and card has dvi d will it work ?
