If you plan on water cooling your build I would save for a waterblock if not just get the aftermarket cooler that was suggested above.

Get a fan controller with a High wattage per channel, then get 5 or 4 way fan splitters, then you can control your fans in groups, for a cheaper controller worth its weight in wattage check the fractal Adjust 108, 36W per channel should be enough for 5-10 fans per channel.
 
Edit: also if you go the PWM route for fans, just the Swiftech 8 way splitter, it uses the power from a molex provided by your PSU but uses a PWM header on the motherboard to control fan speed.

Metric, much easier to calculate stuff.

for 140mm rad fans id go with XSPC 140mm Rad fans, Swiftech helix's, Prolimatech Blue Vortex 140mm, or Phobya Nano G-silents

Get the Dark Knight II, amazing cooler, relatively inexpensive, and just looks awesome aswell.

+10 for Naming a Car company that actually makes cars that are meant to perfom well first and look good after, unlike certain company's  <_< 
 
As for the Intel Vs AMD pick, i Laughed my ass of when i saw it, and the comments made it even better... and i own an Intel processor, just shows you how easily fanboys get butthurt over something as simple as a picture on the internet.

Go for something like a NZXT Havik 140, Xigmatek Dark Knight II, or a Phanteks TC12DX, All of these coolers are pretty quiet and can also keep a hefty OC pretty damn cool.
 
the H100i does beat air cooler, but it does so with a Higher DBA rating and only by a few degrees, unless you spend even more money and get 40$ worth of aftermarket fans for it, at which point the price can get out of hand.

the 7950 will outperform the 660 Ti, sometimes by a pretty large margin.

7950 with the new drivers is close to a 670 and overclocked it will run over the 670 in pretty much everything, plus the Gigabyte cooler works really well.

I think its covered a lot, just seems like he got a bad i5 and a good 8350 though, i dont have a problem going to 4.5 and im using a fkn Hyper 212 evo

Gigabyte 7950 @ 1075/1500 running 12.11 drivers and it Smashes everything.
