  1. If you've already experienced 144hz I wouldn't make the switch to 4k. It'll ruin your experience.
  2. Hey, the Logitech G303 is the mouse I use it has the sensor from the G402 and G502 has RGB lighting and is also on sale from BestBuy- http://www.bestbuy.com/site/logitech-g303-daedalus-apex-optical-gaming-mouse-black/4801031.p?skuId=4801031
  3. Probably not, my friend's coming from an FX-8350 have seen incredible performance increases such as 15+ FPS, and less stutter. But from an i5 6600 to a i7 6700k would not be worth it in the long run. I think you should just cope with it for now until you can go for a more long term choice for CPU.
  4. If a CPU intensive game like Arma 3 gives you 60 FPS it doesn't mean your GPU is being bottlenecked, just not being utilized enough. It heavily depends on the FPS you plan to achieve. I've heard Crysis 3 was an all-around intensive game but I've read about a lot of people with bad CPU's getting low frame rates, so I would say it's more CPU intensive.
  5. There's no SLI bridge connector for the GTX 1060 right..? So the only way you can get 2 1060's to work is through DX12 or you can keep the other as a physx card. ? 480 does scale better, if you're the one saying that then you're correct but I do believe your friend is just misinformed and anything can change due to GPU marketing. If NVIDIA wanted to support SLI again they could potentially do it.
  6. I've seen a couple i5 6600 CPU's with mobo and RAM for $350-ish USD. Cant find the link atm but I know it's on Newegg.
  7. Hi, I don't know if you switched to adaptive vcore but manually set your vcore. DO NOT use adaptive when performing benchmarks, because it will increase your vcore mid benchmark and increase your temperatures and give you a bad general idea of where your temps are. Not to mention you might be applying too much voltage and degrade your CPU just attempting a benchmark. I am on 4.8@1.34v on air.
  8. I think comparing the two is pointless because they can both grant you what you want with ease. But I would opt for the 6800k mainly because you'll be getting better performance in the long run when some tasks like gaming can benefit from the extra cores. Not to mention it's only $100 different in price. If you plan on doing video editing working on VM's then the 6800k should be better.
  9. It gets very complicated. I would just be happy with the 2666mhz as there is almost no performance increase after 3000.
  10. You just have to pick which board appeals to you more. Nobody can decide what you want other than yourself. I think one supports SLI but the other doesn't so if you use a GTX 1060, go for the other one since the 1060 doesn't support SLI.
  11. It depends on the type of workload you plan on doing. If you're just a gamer go for the 6700k, better single core performance and practically a generation newer.
  12. It should be fine, the GTX 1070 should be using less power than the previous generation gaming cards.
