  • Biography
Live and work on a dairy farm. Fell in love with computers when I needed a more powerful computer for farming simulator modding and it just kinda snowballed from there. I no longer play farming simulator as I don't see a point in pretending to do what I do in real life every day, but It is what got me back into PC gaming and off of the Xbox360 so I can at least thank it for that. When computers didn't do it for me anymore I started working on anything that runs on electricity including cell phones, TVs, and various other electronics. I'm going to stop writing this now because it's beginning to feel like a waste if time.

  1. It's not worth it, you can get a 960 for like $100USD. You can also check out the EVGA website, they normally have B-stock for cheap. AMD RX400 series cards are pretty cheap now too.
  2. First upgrade is an SSD boot drive, next power supply, then CPU, then GPU, Then Case
  3. Have you tried booting with just one ram stick? x58 can be picky about ram.
  4. I bet your hard drive can't keep up. I used to have the same CPU and GPU and I never had any trouble running 1440p at 100+ FPS.
  5. I stick with Samsung and intel, they make their own flash so it tends to be the best of the best, while some of the other manufacturers sell B grade stuff.
  6. They're very much fake. normally they're low end cards with flashed bios to say they're newer and faster than they are.
  7. Yes, but not enough to matter. Obviously an 8700k will outperform anything from AMD in most games, so compared to the i7 your 1600X will bottleneck that GPU a little bit.
  8. What's your memory usage? It sounds like a memory leak.
  9. That's because 3Ghz is the clock speed of the chip. http://cpuboss.com/cpu/AMD-Phenom-II-X4-B95
  10. You should really get a new CPU before you even think about a new GPU.
  11. So the most obvious question is why do you need all those cores? what are you doing with the server?
  12. When your CPU is super fast it isn't the bottleneck. In this case the GPU is the bottleneck unless you play on low settings 400p.
  13. I have a oneplus 6 and I love it. Oneplus supports their phones better than any other non Google android phone maker, so I don't think you'll be upset you bought a oneplus 6.
