Bought a Hellcat today.
That gun is extremely hard to put down. It feels sooo good 🥰
 
Chose the Pro OSP because it came with a nifty bundle(pistol, 2 mags, 3 extra mags, nifty carrying case). Might still buy a standard OSP if I want something a little more concealable.
 
Also found another magazine buried in the packaging that neither I, nor the guy helping me at the gun store knew about. So I have an early Christmas gift and 6 magazines total.
Can't wait to get out and shoot it.

Not going to lie to you guys, my mental health is in the toilet today, found out one of my friends is dying and it's really knocked me. Especially seeing as I have a funeral on the 21st already. 
 
Im seeing the doctor tomorrow for a mental health review anyway so hopefully they can help me in the short term. 
 
I'm hopeful I will be able to get it sorted before the end of the week, not going to give you an exact date but ASAP.

So, about half an hour ago, I got a phone call from the head of our accounting Dept at work.
 
He's at a new building trying to do something on the computer I put in.
Mind you, when I left, it was shutdown, because it needed to have power run to it, and it was gonna need a 100' extension cord to do this.
I mention this, but he tells me it's up and running and all good.
 
So, he's on the computer and asking me about some stuff, so I'm helping him out.
 
Blah blah blah blah. I'm listening to random beeping in the background, that I assume are the forklifts there making noise, because fork trucks are NOISY.
 
Suddenly he just pops in "The computer just turned itself off!"
Me: Uhhhh, what?
Him: "Oh, that APC thing has been beeping?"
Me: Check the cord? Is it plugged in?
Him: "I guess it's not!"
 
THAT DUMBASSED MOTHERFUCKER TURNED ON THE UPS, IGNORED ALL THE BEEPING, AND JUST ASSUMED IT WAS WORKING CORRECTLY

Spotted while shopping for other products on Amazon.  Yes, it is made for IWB concealed carry - the product listing even had a secondary picture showing it "deployed".

Will finally be able to bring the Glock out to play, and will push some more rounds through the AR.
Gonna be a real fun time, I might even finally do a proper family photo out in the wild.

So far the only driver I've tested that I'd call "like a normal driver" in locked mode is the PB Swiss.
 
And I've been surprised by how much and how little slop the other drivers I'm testing have—doesn't seem strongly correlated to price. And I'm with OP, the reason I haven't traditionally used ratcheting drivers is that slop, I hate it.
 
I will be doing some testing on it, but I'm hoping PF will give a bit more rigor to that type of testing (the rig I was hoping to build to test precise runout in locked position didn't end up working well enough for some of the better drivers), so I'll be giving a little more subjective take on it, and showing some of the drivers so you can visually compare.
 
I do have a couple more... "fun" tests planned that I'm guessing PF won't have in his video Sunday 🙂
 
(Edit: and to be clear, I'm awaiting shipment of the driver for review. PF already has a couple and has been testing.)

There aren't any laws restricting magazine size for handguns anymore, so they'd have little to no legal ground for doing so.
Plenty of people have AR lowers with the same stamp anyway.

Also my dad appears to be buying an AR of his own soon, so I may just postpone my range trip and tag along on his trip to zero and whatnot because he'll have to go anyway and it's less effort on my part.

Found this awesome little blast from the past at the local food bank where I help out occasionally. I had a couple of ATI graphics cards back in the days - mostly actually, last one was a an ATI Radeon HD4890. Never an AMD card, though.

With Gazzew / Outemu Silent Linear Stems
Acoustically, I can’t tell the difference between the Modded Silent POM Switch and the Modded Silent Oil King Switch. The 210g spring kinda... normalizes the playing field. 🤣
 
In terms of feel, Modded Oil King Switches were smoother than the Modded Silent POM Switches, even when the latter was lubed. The difference was quite marginal, however.
 
With Gateron Silent Ink Black Stems
I did also try Durock POM Switch + Gateron Silent Ink Black Stem, and... immediately regretted it. The result was the scratchiest switch I have ever touched. No amount of lube can save that combination. 😂
 
Gateron Oil King Switch + Gateron Silent Ink Black Stem was more acceptable to my standards. Not nearly as smooth as the Gazzew / Outemu Silent Linear Stem, but not excruciatingly terrible. Could benefit from lubing.

Granted, you now lose interest in the forum because we don't know how to be normal humans

The CC list is a massive issue. The State of CA just gave out the home addresses of almost every cop & judge. This is a great way to build trust among institutions themselves. Brilliant! 

Someone needs to serve time for this incompetence, if it really was just left there in plaintext.

This deals with requiring you to be publicly visible for your use of a constitutional right, significantly different than a credit company having phone-book information.  It's no different than requiring a registry of your political opinions, sexual preference, etc etc that are all covered by another constitutional right.  The reason everyone would scoff at that is because the obvious: there's no benefit for it beyond enabling easier harassment.  
 
Point being: this information is more "sacred" than info your average creditor has.  Imagine if this were a medical record dump...

Please keep politics to a minimum...
 
Summary
Yesterday the CA DOJ released an online tool that provided useful information on various California firearms statistics related to Carry Concealed Weapons Permits, Gun Violence Restraining Orders, Firearms Safety Certificates, and other related information that let the public sort by various data points. Now being reported on reddit gigabytes of underlying data was easily accessible in plain text for several hours. The three leaked data sets I am seeing reported are
CCW holders: Full name, full address, DOB, age, race, CCW effective dates, and CCW number, and if they are a judge/LEO. FSC (required certificate to purchase firearms in CA): FSC number, driver's license, age, & issue date DROS (background check): DOB, gender, & race I do not have any technical details on what kind of database tool was used by the DOJ, but commenters who downloaded the data said it was accessible in a few clicks. This is not widely reported on non-firearms related media outlets yet and the CA DOJ has yet to publicly comment.

My thoughts
This is obviously a major security risk for Californians, especially celebrities, judges, and law enforcement, and shows how incompetent the DOJ's handling of this database was. I am eager to see what the state's response will be and if this will lead to tighter control of state firearms data due to the safety implications. Many states do not allow for digitization of certain firearms records for this very reason.
 
The reddit source includes information to contact one of the 2A organizations that are investigating the matter for legal action.
