  1. I want to build a PC for 4K gaming at Max settings and I need 60 FPS or more to play I know two 1080s in SLI can do this fine but. The more I look into SLI the more I want to not go with SLI. It is hard to tell what is BS and what is true when it comes to looking at the pros and cons of SLI. The CPU for the Build is the i7 7700k two Asus Strix GTX 1080s and 32 GB RAM and a SSD. If any of you guys know some one or own GTX 1080s in SLI please help thanks so much.
  2. But if they cut i7 7700k price whitch one should a get?
  3. Good point but, If Intel drops the price of 7700k would you get that?
  4. I don't need more cores for video editing or Photoshop I was just thinking well why not lol.
  5. Well I think we all really happy with what AMD has done to the CPU world now but for some one who Just Wants a Gaming Machine what do I do? I did not get on the AMD hype train at the start so I don't know much about Ryzen 5 and 3 but I could just Build a System with the 1700 or 1700x for about the same price as i7 7700k. Has anyone heard much about R5 and R3? The plan for my build is 4K max settings gaming 2 GTX 1080 in SLI or wait for AMD GPU to drop?
  6. Here is the reason I don't care for the 1080ti I may be wrong about this but in years past the TI version of GPU was I TITAN performance for cheaper price with less Memory. And If that stays truce you still will not get 60 FPS on all games max settings 4K witch is what I want.
  7. I really don't know if SLI 1080s is a good or bad idea. I am planing a Custom Water Cooled PC and don't know if I should go for 1 GTX 1080 1440p 144hz gaming or go for SLI 4K gaming. I play PS4 right now and I know people are going to tell me any PC is a upgrade witch is true but I really don't just want to go to 1440p I want to go all out for 4K but I have heard bad things about SLI not scaling and some games that don't support it. How bad is games not scaling in AAA titles don't care about smaller games just games like BF1 Overwatch CSGO the main PC games people play. I could even go with a Titan XP I just want a minimum of 60 FPS on MAX SETTINGS. But dropping $1200 on ONE GPU is dumb to me if you guys have any video or ideas you would like to share people link or post your thoughts thanks.
  8. I am planing a Gaming RIG and don't know if I should get 16GB or 32GB of ram all I will be doing is gaming no video editing. But if I am playing games in 4K or 1440p do I need more ram?
  9. So I am planing a gaming rig and can not pick with motherboard/CPU I should go with. I don't need extra cores for video editing or rendering just a gaming rig I want to have custom water cooling setup and I want to get the best Overclocking I can and I don't know what chipset to go with Z270 or X99. I know people are going to say go with the i7 7700k its stock clock is fater than 6800k. But when it comes to Custom water over clocking and the fact that the Rampage V is the coolest looking MB on the market in my opinion could I get better OCs with X99 or not. If you have any thought or ideas about what I should do please post thanks.
  10. Ok to start off this build is Gaming 1440p 144hz and I don't need it for video editing or rendering just thought I should tell you guys that. I am trying to find a Mother Board for the build I have been looking at the Asus ROG IX Formula its on the z270 chipset witch you guys know is the 7700k i7. Its a really good board but The case I plan on using is a Caselabs SM8 witch is a EATX Motherboard tray and ATX may look weird. The other Motherboard I have been looking at is the Asus ROG Rampage V 10th edition witch is on the X99 chipset and I don't really want or need to go up to X99 because it only a gaming rig and I would not take use of extra CPU Cores. But the Rampage V board I feel like would be better for Over clocking. Also not to mention that its the coolest looking board I have ever seen and I know some people are going to say why not get the ROG IX Extreme but I don't like the look of the Board and I want to put my own Water block on the MB and I don't know if you can do that. When its comes to Gaming and Over Clocking what MB would you guys go with any thought or ideas please post your thoughts.
  11. I am planing custom water cooling build and I want to get custom cables but I don't know what I need I will be over clocking i7 7700k with one Asus GTX 1080 Strix and only one SSD I just want the cables I need not any more than that please help me Thanks.
  12. What do you think about doing a build with Formula in the SM8 its only ATX and you know the tray is bigger do you think it would look bad?
  13. The EVGA is not one I am looking at because just saw I/O and its dose not have enough USB for my needs. But I did say I don't like the look of the IX Extreme but I just went to asus web site and IDK if they just added the Extreme to the web site but they did and it looks cool.
  14. What do you think about Asus ROG IX Formula?
  15. That is true but after seeing videos of IX Rampage I don't like the look of it. And its a gaming PC not WS.
