  2. here's an update, not using CPUz and CAM in background made a huge drop.
  3. My pump is wired in the cpu fan header and the radiator fans are connected to NZXT smart device.. I did close everything on background including CPUz, CAM and temps are down to 38c, but voltage is still in 1.4v. Not sure if nVidia geforce xp and control panel has a effect here. ftr, I haven't applied any overclocks yet, this is all outside the box configs. Will give this a try later.
  4. Yep, its just the idle, load temps doesn't go beyond 65c. Thanks
  5. I don't think this is what the idle should be, I'm cooling this with a 240mm AIO (Kraken x52). see attached..
  6. I have a LG 34UC79-G (144hz 2560x1080) I already activated G-Sync on nVidia Control Panel and Freesync on display OSD.. the problem is on game menu's specifically (Overwatch and RainbowSix Siege) the display flickers on/off..this happens only on menu's with fixed 60fps (unsure about that fixed 60). 15. I have a Razer Blade with 250gb of internal storage. I need more for my game library. I'm choosing between a DIY external SSD (500gb with usb 3.1 interface) or replacing the internal NVME SSD with larger one. which one should be the best overall option? if I replaced the stock NVME, I won't be able to use it as an external SSD since it needs to a SATA.
  16. Thank you for this! I'm using spare fans from a h100i cooler, I will consider buying a new fans just in case.
  17. Im making a DIY laptop cooler using 2 120mm PWM fans since laptop coolers on the market is not too powerful to push air. I've connected it from a 12v DC wall adapter, of course I don't want it to run at full speed. I'm wondering if I can use a dimmer for a fan control (see link) https://amzn.to/2JfugBZ
  18. undervolt first, if still too hot then repaste it
  19. I'm now downloading games on the hard drive, I is slow, but I'll check the game loads later. Yes, Im might consider a enclosure with USB C
  20. I have a Razer Blade and it only has a 250gb SSD which is not enough for my game library. I thinking of putting it on a my existing hard drive (USB 3.0), will it affect my loading time?its a spinning disk. Will I I get better performance if I will buy a SSD Drive and put in a enclosure?
