Having an SSD that came w/ windows pre-installed w/o any bloatware would be fucking amazing though. A company should do something where if you purchase the drive directly from them, you can have software  such as windows, chrome, steam, other very common things pre-installed on the drive for the cost of the software itself.

I know someone who is EXACTLY THE SAME. Nobody in my group of friends particularly likes hanging out with him but it happens anyway due to his stubbornness and overall assholery.

I'm pretty sure that most tech-illiterate people call micro usb android cables. 
 
 
In my school's library, there is a charging area for phones with 4 cables of different lengths, colors, and quality with 2 being labeled "iPhone 5," one being labeled "iPhone 4s" and one being labeled "android" These cables go into a wooden box with areas made to hold your devices. Since the school is open for a few hours after school and as long as you are a student you are let in without an issue, if I wanted too, I could open up the box, attach the cables to a NUC sized pc and have access to all of the phone's storage without anyone noticing. Good job IT.

My  school recently put in a new blocking system called truview. It blocked this site claiming it was a "gaming" site. However, it is completely fucking useless. I'm in history class, on school wifi and am browsing the site. All it took for me to get in was putting "https://" in front of the url. I don't even have to do that for any other part of this or any other site! It only blocked the home page. I bet if I really wanted to, I could get on a porn site by using this method. It's that bad.
Just do what I do and skip over pages that you missed. Usually you will see stories quoted that you can skim over.

Background info: This took place at a COMPUTER ENGINEERING camp a few weeks ago and the other person in the argument is the "looks/sounds like he is 10 but is actually 14 and pisses everybody off" type. At the time, we were talking about ultra high end intel processors then this little shit chimed in.
 
Him: The best procesor is the AMD FX-8350 8-core processor!
Me: Well it is behind the current gen haswell processors in terms of single core performance and runs pretty hot.
Him: Well Intel processors are just cheap knock offs of AMD processors!
Me: Um... No they aren't
Him: Yes they are! Intel just takes AMD technologies and makes them worse then sells them at a high price.
Me: Um... No. I'm certain that that does not at all happen. Intel processors are very different from AMD ones.
Him; Well my AMD FX 8350 8-core processor is more powerful than the highest end core i7 processors because of its 8 cores.
Me: It is only faster when you are using all cores and if it is overclocked. But then it is using a ton of power and producing loads of heat 
Him: Well a major selling point of the AMD FX  8350 8-core processor is how much L2 and L3 cache it has. It has 16 MB of it which is more than the highest end i7 has which makes it perform better in games.
Me: Cache is not a major selling point for it, it doesn't do shit in games and that CPU only has 8 MB of each level. My i7 has the same amount of L3.
Him: Well it is 16 MB combined which is more than your i7 has.
Me: Yes, but due to the fact that the processors have different architectures that use L2 cache differently, and the 8350 benefits from more of it.
 
This continues  for a while until he get's flustered and changes the subject.

So the camera that I have now is pretty good if i'm taking pictures of stationary objects with shit loads of light but not so good when video/pictures are taken in low-ish light. Because my 15th birthday happened a month ago and I got money from everyone instead of actual gifts and I had some cash, I figured that I'd spend $500 and get an entry level dslr. Well my mom is convinced that FOR A CAMERA that is a shitload of money and that I'M TOO YOUNG AT 15 YEARS OLD and waaaayyy too irresponsible with my things to be able to get that. She has agreed to me selling my current camera (which I will sell for $275 in case anybody is interested) and using part of the $500 that I already have. Ofc, my mom is totally cool with spending retarded amounts ($150+) single fashion related items but pissed off when I try to use my own money to buy something tech related.

My friends dad installed Mcafee on to his (my friend's) computer after he (my friend) told him not to and that there were better options out there. According to him, after it was installed, his computer has crashed due to lack of ram (he has 8 gigs) when playing games or using chrome. Despite this, his dad refuses to get rid of it (he has an administrative lock on it)

Yup. I have also had plenty of moments when I forgot my sd card, forget to charge my camera's battery, see someone trying to take pictures without the lens on the camera body, etc.

Earlier today, my mom and I were in the nearby mall shopping for stuff (shorts for me and she ended up pre-ordering a surface pro 3) when we stepped into American Eagle.  Immediately, I saw a shirt that said "Love thy Selfie." I  told my mom that the shirt made me want to throw up (it was that bad) and she quickly agreed with me and we exited the store. I hate that part of society. It is too damn annoying.

I went by an audio equipment store the other day that had a sign by a window that read: "We will make your iTunes sound better!"

My school uses Skyward and it works well enough. What pisses me off is that parents are given accounts so they can view their kid's grades. There have been many times when my mom went apeshit on me for missing a 2 point homework assignment. I hate not being able to hide bad grades.

I loaned my sister my old iPod touch that I don't currently use so she could use iTunes and some other stuff on it. She returned it back to me today with the screen shattered and thought it wasn't a bid deal... 

By that logic, would HDD be Hard Damn Disk and OS would be Operating Shizzle?

My school tech department recently disabled right clicking on certain things on the computers in the CAD lab. It is now impossible to do anything and I ducking hate it. All of my productivity is now gone.

Why Dell? Why do you put all the money int 32 gbs of RAM and a 3TB HDD with a 256gb ssd when you only have an R9 270!

To them the fact that a monitor is not the computer, the big box that is making noise and has lights and buttons on it and is where you put your flash drives is, DOES NOT COMPUTE! HA HA HA I made a pun... probably.

Especially with the fact that they encourage you to spend more on the processor than the gpu's. Also something really retarded is that they use a proprietary PSU and a shitty motherboard with some OEM level VRM despite the fact that they overclock the processors. i have seen inside of one and they have NO airflow. Also, the case is massive for only being M-ATX and supporting 4 hard drives. I would like to mod the hell out of one of those cases though.

Whenever new people come into my room, they look at my tower and say "is that a computer?" i say yes of course it is. They usially respond with "wow that's so cool, where did you buy it from." or  "wow thats so big! I bet its old and crappy"
