  1. The fans spin fine. It is a new build, had no drivers installed before. I've tried different drivers and used a program to clean the old drivers but nothing seemed to work.
  2. The thing is Amazon refuses since I bought it internationally and MSI says I have to send it back to Amazon. so.. ?
  3. The 2nd card didn't work. It caused problems such as black screen after windows logo and blue screen when booting into windows low-res mode.
  4. I've tried switching. No point. What do you mean its the motherboard ? It worked fine with the first card. How can I fix this ?
  5. Specs: AMD Sempron 145 Corsair Vengeance 4GB DDR3 1600mhz RAM MSI 970A-G46 Mobo WD 320GB Hard Drive Seasonic 550rm psu The graphics cards: R9 270x 2GB from MSI The system runs fine with one of the cards, but has problems with the other. I've tried running it separately and with both cards but it doesn't work. After doing some digging I've noticed the working card ran a different BIOS. So I flashed the non-working card with the same BIOS as the working card but I still doesn't work. What happens is that after installing the drivers, the screen becomes black after the windows logo before login when booting in windows normal mode. When booting into windows low-res mode, it works fine but the screen turns blue after loging in by 10-20 seconds.
  6. Specs: AMD Sempron 145 Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz 4GB DDR3 RAM MSI 970A-G46 MOBO MSI R9 270x 2G WD 320GB HDD Seasonic 550RM With Win7 32 bit After putting it together, it worked fine with the integrated graphics. Then, after installing the drivers the computer kept freezing after the windows logo before the log in screen. I tested the system with another graphics card; it worked fine. So I decided to flash the gpu. I used ATIwinFlash to flash it from 15.040 to 15.041 GPU Bios. The flashing process worked perfectly. Then I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers and the same issue occured. However, there is progress. Now, it doesn't freeze with low-resolution mode but after logging in by 10-20 seconds, the screen turns completely blue. Any thoughts ?
  7. I have the exact same card and everything worked fine on that one. Although something I've noticed, It was running a different GPU BIOS.
  8. You can't disable onboard graphics on this mobo. It's not in the bios. Also, I've tried older versions of the drivers. They don't work.
  9. I'll try it. BTW, the mobo doesn't even have a display output. It goes through the graphics card.
  10. This is a mining pc. That's why its in this section of the forum.
  11. Specs: AMD Sempron 145 4GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 RAM MSI 970A-G46 320GB WD HDD MSI R9 270x. Seasonic 550RM Windows 7 boots into normal mode fine through the onboard graphics. I downloaded the drivers for the graphics card which prompted to reboot the system. When rebooting into Win7 Normal mode, the screen freezes black after the windows logo. I can still access Safe Mode using the onboard graphics. What is the problem ?
  12. btw, my second r9 270x (one in the second PCI Express bus lane) says "the device isn't using any resources because it has a problem ". Just like in this image: http://i.imgur.com/3ihyDzy.png but instead it says R9 200 Series.
