Please note: if you liked the format changes I made, be sure to let me know and I'll continue doing it this way when I post them. (I.E Shuffling synopsis around with its links, centering everything, larger fonts for a more stand out title and section for the anime (recent current pre post) I also did not include a "random" this week, as I felt that it wasn't very necessary because I personally liked all the options & random is a personal selection (usually).

Before Netflix, Hulu, and other similar streaming services became main stream *no pun intended* there were brick and mortar stores, such as Blockbuster, where you could go to rent videos, games, tv shows, buy popcorn and candy, and take it home. This is where the concept of 'straight to DVD' came from as well. Blockbuster would have lots of games you could rent then beat then return instead of buying outright to save money. It also had a lot of movies that never made it to major theaters. I hope this provides some clarification.

Not scanning through all the posts to see if someone has addressed this already. He is most likely responding to people who have a following in the gaming industry (be it professionals, engineers, entertainers, etc..) that mislead folks into thinking more powerful hardware is needed for something when it's really not. This is usually because that person actually has not even the slightest fucking clue what they're talking about, but they speak out of their ass because they want to seem 'cool' with the latest and greatest hardware.

Well first off, once again it's a personal opinion, so yes anime is better than manga to me. Manga is boring. I've tried to read it, but it's like looking at a picture book for a child. I'd rather stick to motion picture.

Sadly never read a manga before, just isn't as good as an anime to me. I'd like to blame my terrible imagination for this though.

Warning: Personal Opinion Flag It's interesting how people don't understand that reading a book is equivalent to watching T.V. which is equivalent to browsing online. Yet somehow Books>Tv>Internet in some peoples minds. It's honestly hilarious when I'm a college student who spends 90% of my time inside because I'm studying or gaming and a relative says I should do something productive like read a book. Like bitch I don't got time for that shit when I ALREADY read for class & it's boring as fuck most of the time. Far and few between are there books deserving of time. Just like anime or any media, there's sooo ooo ooooooo much garbage out there, but the ones worth time (which comes down to each individuals personal opinion of course) are truly worth it when compared to the other garbage media. Edit: (Kind of a rant towards ignorant people who think watching tv is more productive than using the internet to learn or have fun)

They're planning on planting over 1 trillion trees, so i think that's progress, considering that's = 1/3rd of current tree population (3-4trillion on the planet atm)

what was the price drop

I love Tesla, I wonder how people will receive this with that pice tag and haven't people already pre-ordered it? So wouldn't they have to have known the price? Also.. Is there any new information anyone knows about model 3? or whatever the new/old name is.

I'd disagree, small transaction chips would be amazing especially in metro areas. Allowing you to spend $30 every hour or so. That's coffee + metro fair + random purchase of nicknack or food Speed is a HUGE problem in cities, moreover the lack of efficiency with humans. I'd honestly have this chip just implanted into my wrist and forget about it, even doing this then entering a custom four digits. (Not my phone number)

It appears I've been summoned, I am FAR less busy going into September now, and extremely thankful for it. I had no summer break unfortunately and used any free time i had with my girlfriend or playing cs;go. I have actually recently started watching anime regularly again and I've found some wonderful shows. Death Parade and Parasyte being two series I recently finished. Both of which I thought were incredibly entertaining. Even got to update MyAnimeList yesterday (still missing things I can't remember) and I'm looking through some older threads for things to binge watch. I do have class this semester, but the work load is pretty small, just lots of writing. So with regards to my acitivity in the club, I'll be actively participating in discussions and polls now, and with regards to posting I'll discuss with Fred, as he has taken the reigns in my absence I'd see it very unfit of me to make any kind of decision on what I do without his feedback. (& the others who know who they are)

I'm proud to inform you i bought the two desks, and one was wider than the other #failure. The prices in store were $10 cheaper than online for the normal slabs. So I ended up buying the larger one for the price of the smaller one. #fuck savings On the other hand, this corner desk is fucking GIGANTIC

Nope 100$ for the two desks + 9 leggs + 200$ for shipping like DA FUQ? I can carry that shit myself, put it on a fuckn ups truck. Anyhow they have one in long island i'm going to go pick it up at.
