  1. I messaged the seller, according to him it'll work just fine. I'd of course rather have one with clearly labelled support but haven't had any luck finding it. it is joined as 12 pin, but (see image) it seems like only 4 traces are actually data, 4 more are not connected an the rest seem tied together to ground or power. This makes me a bit worried. I was hoping this was just some standard that I could easily find a connector for. Because I really don't have the equipment to solder that small.
  2. Hey, I'd like to reuse an old tablet screen as a touchscreen monitor. I've found this lcd driver that according to the seller is compatible with my lcd screen (B101EVN07.0). I'd also like to use the resistive touch screen. It uses a CT363 touch controller chip which has a 12 pin flex cable output. But all the touch screen to USB controller use 4 - 8 pin connectors. that lcd controller I linked uses a 12v barrel jack, Ideally I just want one hdmi and one usb cable as an input. any tips? not afraid of soldering.
  3. I've never bought from gearbest before, is it a reliable site?
  4. will it work like normal, language support, right power brick in the box?
  5. I mean the one that ltt just released a video of
  6. hey, facebook has released an update that allows you to use HEIC images from OS11 to make a fake 3D effect. now what I am doing is opening the file into photoshop and editing the image and depth map. (say ad text that's a certain depth away) but my problem is that you can't export as heic. and I can barely find any information about adding depth data to a jpeg. the only example I found is this:https://petapixel.com/2018/10/23/photographer-turns-drone-shot-into-a-facebook-3d-photo/but this requires a €5 app and is pretty limiting.there must be a way to do this on a computer?
  7. title says all, is there any information about xaomi releasing the mi box s in europe, or at least an international version?
  8. hey, the aniverserary update for windows 10 has dropped a couple days ago, and now everytime i shut down my pc it tries to update. but the next time i startup into a bluescreen with the errorcode 0cx000021a and then it will restart and pretty mutch keep looping. the only way to ectually get into the os is to pretty mutch revert to "factory settings" or reset windows. wich i have done twice now to be able to use my pc. what ive tried; -ceveral commands in the command prompt like: sfc /scannow, Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth -tried launching in safe mode ( didn't launch ) -revert/unninstall basic drivers if anyone has any ideas/ suggestions i'd love to hear them.
  9. uuuh cheap 15 euro mouse, cheap 15 euro keyboard, and a creative fitality gaming headset(cheap)
  10. Yes those screen labels, and no theor not arbitrary. Number 1 will always be the ( main pc monitor ) and i do not mean the monitor you sellected as your main monitor in the settings. i mean that when you press windows+p and sellect pc monitor only. It will always display number 1. Even though that is not sellected a your "main" monitor
  11. Yeah i know that works its just that its the wrong way around and i'd like to know a fix. Especially if i want to add more monitors in the future
  12. Hey i have a problem. I have a vga-monitor and an hdmi-tv connected to my pc. Now my problem is that the hdmi tv will always be numbered 1 even though the monitor is selected as my main monitor. That in it self is not a problem but when i press windows+p and select only pc monitor it will only display the tv. What ive tried: Resseting the pc with only the vga monitor plugged in Delete the monitor and tv keys in the register and then restarting the pc with only the vga monitor plugged in I know windows will always pick the hdmi connection as the primary monitor but is there anyway to change this?
  13. I was thinking about that but yet again i can load into windows fine. So it might be the bios chip. And then even. Before the boot the bios checks if all the hardware is available and working. If its not it wont start windows. All these things make me believe that the bios is not broken or corrupted
