  1. So now the computer can't last more than 2 minutes on without crashing. On one of his boots he got the following error:
  2. So my friend has recently started having problems with his computer. His PC suddenly freezes into a black screen and reboots, no blue screen. The computer reboots a few more times and then manages to get to back on Windows. He hopped back in to the game he was playing (No Man's Sky) and after a few minutes the game graphics glitched out and the computer crashed once again. After a few more reboots the PC gave a blue screen. I don't know what the problem could be or if he has a faulty component. Thanks in advance! 4. So my friend build his PC a few weeks ago and had this problem, we managed to solve it by doing a fresh installation of Windows. But now it's back. I have not idea how to help him. His PC manages to get to the Windows 10 loading sequence but it takes over 30 minutes just to finish and when it does it some times BSOD with DRIVER POWER STATE FAILURE. After the clean installation the PC worked just fine. Right now, his CPU spiked to 100% then he restarted the PC. After that the computer started having the problem. Now I made another post where he upgraded his CPU but didn't post. We fixed that by using MSI BETA BIOS Version because it was the only ones that worked with the new 3600X. After this, it was when the problem started, and we did the clean installation. 5. just found out that you need beta version of the bios to run 3rd gen
  6. He did not have any overclocking settings and yes we did reset the bios settings.
  7. We did, he is using the computer right now normally.
  8. its not the same cpu cause he orderd from a different retailer, before even returning the old cpu
  9. yes, it reports latest version available.
  10. So I have a friend that upgraded from a Ryzen 3 1200 to a Ryzen 5 3600x. Once he changed the CPU the PC wouldn't boot. The case lights don't light up either. But, the case and CPU fans do turn on. So we assumed the CPU was defective and returned it and got a new one. But now with the new CPU the problem persist. Yet, the old Ryzen 3 has no problems what so ever. Also, we did update the BIOS, and we have waited 15 minutes for the computer to boot. We are faced with not HDMI out put from neither the motherboard nor the GPU. 11. That gateway is only for that router, the linksys one has a more normal one 192.168.1.1
  12. So I have had a Linksys EA7300 for a year now and a few days ago I suddenly lost internet connection. I noticed the router was reporting it didn't have an internet connection. So I tried reseting it to see if that fixed the problem, it did not. I switched the it with a little travel router I have (GL-MT300N) and it works. Is there anything I can do to fix my router or do i need to get a new one? thx in advance some pictures of the panels in case they help: Linksys Gl.inet
  13. So I have a friend that made a brand-new PC and has a very particular issue. He has both wired keyboard and mouse but windows doesn't detect them. But, when he plugs in the mouse to the USB 3.0 port it works. On the other hand, the keyboard doesn't work no matter where he plugs it. He can't even access the BIOS. We tested the keyboard when testing the components before putting them inside the case and it worked fine. Lastly, we tested every single USB port on the system with a thumb drive and it got picked up and successfully wrote and read files from it. I honestly have no idea what the problem could be. Thanks in advance. 14. So I figured out what part of the problem was. I first assumed the SSD was the problem so I installed Windows on a separate hard drive and everything was fine until I used Driver Booster 6 to update my system drivers. After that, the problem got replicated on the hard drive. So I grabbed my SSD and reinstalled windows and only installed the GPU drivers and so far everything is working great! I guess it was a matter of don't fix what's not broken.
  15. Hi, so for a few months now I have been experiencing my desktop freezing for about a minute and then it resumes, but I can still move my mouse around screen when it happens but that's about it. Also, any keyboard commands I type get pressed all at once when the computer unfreezes, I usually press ctrl alt del to know when the computer unfreezes. I have also noticed that the freezing occurs mostly outside games. Yet it does happen for some games. I had an old am3+ motherboard with an fx-4300 and it had the exact same problem. The only component I have from back then is the SanDisk SSD but I don't know if that could be the problem (I ran CrystalDiskInfo and it says it 100% good). Thank you in advance!
