Built this PC and it worked fine for a little bit, but it started bluescreening and shutting off rapidly. I could use the bios just fine, but every time I loaded into Windows it would bluescreen/shut down. I was monitoring Thermals and there didn't seem to be any issues with that and I redid the Thermal Paste just in case. I reseated the CPU, GPU, SSD, and RAM, Unplugged and plugged all the cables back in, I reset CMOS a dozen times, and I reinstalled windows 11. Nothing worked, but the problem got worse. I was gonna try and install Windows 10, but now it won't even let me into the BIOS anymore. Just a black screen, but all the fans still come on. The CPU light on the EZ Debug on the motherboard comes on for a minute and then turns off, and the VGA light comes on. There is nothing on the monitor. I attempted to flash the bios, but I'm not sure I did it correctly, and nothing happened. I tried switching the RAM to different slots, and it worked briefly, but as soon as I restarted the computer, right back to the old problem, which makes me think i may have faulty ram, but i tried one stick at a time, and still nothing. I'm honestly out of ideas. What could this be? Nope. still doesn't work. he tried both my public and private IP with :25565 afterwards
-
ah did not see that. that's my public IP. we tried that one. doesn't work. I think it's an issue with the port because http://www.whatsmyip.org/port-scanner/ can't even find 25565
-
the thing under 'your host name:'?
-
we're trying all of them. which one am i supposed to use? the IPV4 right?
-
took out the IP, and had a friend try to join. nothing changed. still doesn't work.

So, me an adult in the year 2017, wants to start a minecraft server with his buddies. But it's not working out too good. I tried port forwarding, and it didn't work. i am 100% sure i did everything right. The local port and inbound port is both 25565-25565. I have it set to both UDP/TDP and I used my IPV4 address, Put my IPV4 address in the server IP in Server.properties. Gave that IP to my friends. Didn't work. I disabled my firewall. Still didn't work. went to a port-scanner website. It said port 25565 was not open. Re-enabled my firewall with new rules allowing traffic between inbound and outbound UDP/TDP 25565. Messed around with my public and private IPs, didn't work. no matter what, my friends get this message: io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel$AnnotatedConnectException: Connection timed out: no further information: . i have followed numerous Tutorials, and nothing i do helps. WE all hate hamachi with a passion, and we want to use mods, so we can't rent one or use Aternos. you're my only hope!

found the problem. Complete moron moment. I didn't notice an E: Drive spawned with all my files...

So i had a laptop that stopped working so i took out the Hard Drive, and put it in my new computer. I figured out how to actually see what's on the drive, but now i don't know how to access the files. Things like Pictures, mp3 files and documents. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/280812147267731458/337080067425566720/halp.PNG

Wow. I think I just found my new monitor! Thank You!
-
Anything really. I am looking to play mainly shooters, RPGs, and strategy type games. Overwatch, Battlefield, Fallout, Civ VI, witcher III, and Endless Legend.

I have yet to buy a GPU. Currently running integrated graphics. Don't listen to my profile. Haha

I am currently looking for a monitor under $250. It must be 1080p, 144Hz, and 24". I came across 2 I really like. The Asus VG248QE, and the AOC G2460PF. I am trying to decide which one to buy. The AOC one is cheaper, and has Freesync(thinking of joining the red team), while the Asus one is without Freesync, and is a bit more expensive. However! The AOC Monitor has 4 stars and 344 reviews, while the Asus one has 4 1/2 stars at over 2,000 reviews. I also trust Asus a bit more, but the lower price and the Freesync on the AOC is very attractive. Which one should I buy? Or do you recommend any other monitor?

Ooh! I like that ASUS. Thanks
